2nd lunchtime visit. I love the food: we had couscous and really appreciated all the great vegetables. Very tasty. Unfortunately no baklava, but instead we settled for the most amazing buckwheat crepe dessert served with fresh fruit and whipped cream.

First time eating here. Exceedingly friendly service, wonderful menu, fantastic mint tea, heavenly baklava.... Did I mention the lamb, chicken and kofta sausage kebab with delicious couscous? I will definitely be back many times.

I found the food to be excellent (I keep seeing Moroccan but think it is Tunisian?) and in generous portions. The hummus was the best I have had. Super friendly service and great Arabic soundtrack. Lemonade was to die for.More

The menu at Baraka Cafe is very specific and descriptive. The food and portions are outstanding. Must try the Lemonade and the Lamb Tajine. Closest I have had outside of Morocco. A great place to practice speaking Arabic too. Wonderful atmosphere.

A Cambridge institution for more than two decades, Baraka marries the intense flavors of French gastronomy with North African regional cuisine. Caramelized onions rest atop Berber flatbread; brioche is crusted with toasted fennel seeds; flourless chocolate cake is infused with Moroccan and Tunisian spices. Inside you’ll be charmed by handcrafted brass lamps, colorful Moroccan drapes, and banquettes fitted with pillows. On the plate you’ll find aromatic, Moroccan-style tagines served in earthenware dishes, couscous prepared according to ancient methods, and savory-sweet b’stilla tortes with chicken, almonds, and honey. The varied menu easily accommodates vegetarian, pescatarian, and gluten-free diets
