This place really needs to up their game for vegans and vegetarians. There are some older reviews on TripAdvisor that mention a vegan chickpea burger— sadly, this has been removed from the menu! Disappointing. There are lots of veg-friendlier options in the area. Skip this...place (unless you want to make a meal of French fries and salads with most of the toppings removed).More

We sat at the bar for a drink and ended up ordering some appetizers for sharing too. Santiago, the bartender, was very attentive and took great care of us! We love the cocktails!

Ruined my sister’s 50th birthday celebration. She only drinks lemon drop martinis. Her drink was awful. She couldn’t place it but when she thought maybe it was too weak and asked them to remedy that they handled it in the tackiest way. Our server was...not seasoned at all and she was not able to make sense of it all. As she said, she was only 19 and didn’t drink yet. We are sitting in a dark, lounge in the bar area and the staff is not even familiar with cocktails, a very basic one? Inexperienced and underpaid staff, obviously. So she told my sister that everything is measured and blah blah blah. Strike one. TMI. Just fix the drink, make the customer here for her 50th birthday happy with at least a proper lemon drop. My sister was made to finish the drink as it was (!) and they would maybe be able to make the next one stronger. I would have paid and left then. My sister kept asking what is she tasting in her drink that should not be in there because the second one was worse than the first. I tasted it. Repulsive. Finally server came back instead of a manager with notes so she could read us the ingredients. There was maraschino liquor in it!My poor sister kept insisting something was so wrong and they made her feel like she was being difficult. This is about ordering steak and getting rabbit. Who puts maraschino liqueur in a lemon drop? It’s a crime! My sister requested the manager come over. Yes, she had to request! He tried to make excuses for it instead of just taking ownership of the total fail. Something along the lines of I’m sorry but every bar makes the lemon drop differently. Well if you mean most know how to make one correctly and some don’t I guess you’d be right. Food was awful. Calamari dehydrated, tough and inedible. Tagliatelle was so salty and tasted like a pasta version of vodka pizza. They dumped 2 awful desserts on our table. Gloppy chocolate mousse and a warm microwaved gelatinous square with ice cream. No thank you! My poor sister feigned enjoyment of a couple of bites so I wouldn’t feel bad. Not one person turned the situation around, my sister was so upset. Not one wished her a happy birthday. Not one. We still have a day to show her New England hospitality and know we will be in good hands with our next choice. I should not have taken her to a place I had never tried. So embarrassed. Such wasted time in our limited visit.More

This is a nice place to meet up and very close to the Kennedy School at Harvard University; though it was pretty full at 6 pm the service was still prompt. Overall a good experience.

We've been to Park many times and always enjoy the food and atmosphere! The hostesses and servers are the best. This last time we were super impressed with the menu! There are so many more fabulous dishes to choose from. For starters we had: Bacon...Three-Way with Crisp Bacon, Arugula, Confit Tomato, Brioche Bacon Deviled Eggs and the Roasted Beets with baby Arugula, Whipped Feta, Candied Walnuts, Cranberries, Dijon Vinaigrette Cheddar, Corn & Bacon Fritters SO GOOD! Here's what the four of us ordered for dinner: Stuffed Eggplant with Capers, Olives, Tomatoes, Rice, Pan-Seared Salmon with roasted Brussels Sprouts, Parsnip Puree, Piperade Fried Chicken with smoked Cheddar & Boursin Mac & Cheese, Green Bean Casserole and Bar Steak with bacon & Parmesan “Potato Skins”, Arugula & Frisée Salad, Herb-Shallot Butter. Unbelievably all delicious! The cocktails are fabulous! My husband and I had: Bourbon Street - Orange-Infused Bourbon Rosemary, Simple, Lemon, Angostura Bitters and Job Security- Tito’s, Canton Ginger, Grapefruit, Ginger Syrup. The desserts looked amazing but we were too full! Definitely check this place out or go back if you haven't been in a while. And what's not to love about free parking in the garage when you dine!!!More

Better choice for drinks and light appetizers. The crowd is friendly and staff are polite and fast moving. Eggplant dish was too sweet, lacks flavor. Salad was fresh and well prepared. Fried chicken and side of Mac and Cheese was ordinary, like you might be...served in a cafeteria. Brussel sprouts tasted oily. Family members were all adults.More

Wanted a reasonable (!?) priced casual dinner before a show and tried this place out. Service was friendly and attentive. Cocktails delicious but food just so-so. My salmon was cooked well and fresh but brussel sprouts under cooked and parsnip puree bland.

Was looking for a place I could take my wife and son that was quiet. In the section we sat in it was. Service was good. No issue there. Food was not so good. I had the Corned Beer Hash. It tasted rather vinegary. My...wife has the beet salad, which see liked and my son got the standard breakfast (eggs, bacon, sausage. His sausages were overcooked / had been sitting some time. Bacon, that is hard to kill if it simply sits. As I said, my corned beer was very vinegary tasting and I found a small, sharp bone in it (about 3/4's of a inch long and 3/16th in thickness. Not something that I believe would have been native to the corned beef .. however, I do not know how they purchase it / prepare it. I found the bone near the end, gave it to the server as it had a sharp point ... I wanted them to be aware and to investigate how it came to be in the food. I was not waiting for the finding, nor anything else, just wanted them to be aware. Paid the bill, tipped the server and left ... next day I did not feel well .... it passed by the end of the next day. The rest of the family was fine. So, will I go back, no. would I recommend it, no. However, the staff were friendly. They hired nice peopleMore

Went to Park for the first time with a group of friends last month and had the best time! Our server was excellent and made some perfect wine and appetizer recommendations. The Lobster and Crab Dip and the Tasting of Toasts were just the right...appetizers for us all to share. I had the Peking Duck Tacos and they were so flavorful and rich. We'll definitely make a point to go back to Park next time we're in the Boston area!More

I wasn't very impressed. Good things first. The beer list was quite nice, with a balanced set of options. The wine list too, nothing great but quite a few wines with good price value ration. The cocktails looked interesting. But the key part of a...dining experience for me is the food, and that's where this establishment fell flat. Two in our party had the hake, which both described as terribly bland. Likewise, I had the fried chicken, and while it was a LOT (basically a half chicken) neither meat nor batter had apparently ever seen any seasonings, plus it came out on the dry side of the spectrum. Best part of my dish was the mac and cheese side. Two others had the meat pie, and they agreed it was fine but nothing to rave about. The winner of the evening was the tagliatelle bolognese -- very nice. Our server was friendly enough but also disengaged. The ambiance was loud and boisterous. I'd say if you're looking for a nice drink in the Harvard Square area with something that leaves you filled, not a bad place to pick. If you're looking for something that offers more of a culinary experience or for a place to take a date, this is not it.More
