Terrible service, except for one waiter, who was much more professional and attentive than the others. Waited forever to order, they didn't even bring us bread and we had to ask. The portions of the mixed starters for 2 x 30 euros are paltry, we took 2 to eat for 4 but we were literally entitled to one piece each... and the waitress also told us "you can eat well even for two" while in reality the dish was made designed for two people. Well at 2.40pm the 6 first courses finally arrived (all delayed and oh well together), these were plentiful unlike the starters but the spaghetti with clams were really very salty, almost inedible, and I usually eat salty eh, fregola equally quite salty albeit less. The spaghetti with seafood was very good (even if the menu also mentioned the presence of squid... in reality it didn't arrive 😖). Another long wait to have the fried calamari, excellent and plentiful, we had to ask and the waiter told us that they were waiting for the first courses to finish until they were ready to fry, the ideal, especially given the time, would be to realize that we had finished all except one of us to eat and which had already been fried. Correct price for having eaten 6 first courses, an octopus and potatoes, 3 fried foods, 2 mixed starters x2, 2 water, 2 bottles of wine Pariglia is a portion of chips. €279 total, 93 per couple. We will not return not because of the price but because we are not happy with all the dishes we ate.

If you are in Sant'Antioco you absolutely have to go and eat at "I due fratti" if you like fresh fish cooked properly and at the right price. However, don't go there if you prefer elegant restaurants where only the atmosphere counts and not what you eat! Yes, because here everything is a bit spartan, but courtesy and kindness are at home.
Order the catch of the day and they will show you what is available, they will weigh it before your eyes and off to the kitchen, grilled or stewed! More transparent than that…
The first courses are also excellent (fregola!) and the local wine list is good.
I will definitely be back!

Local friends suggested this restaurant to us which we enjoyed both for lunch and dinner. Excellent experience, they have a list of dishes that they serve based on the catch of the day as it is fish tourism. We were able to taste different dishes, from mussels marinara to delicious stewed titans, super fried foods, spaghetti with clams to die for! Without forgetting the fried ravioli filled with ricotta! Express and delicious cuisine! Very rich portions, prices in line with sincere cuisine and super fresh fish! Very honest!
Spending per couple approximately between 70 and 100-110 always based on what you choose of course!!!
Booking is essential as it is always full at both lunch and dinner. They start a little late at lunch because they do takeaway and it's difficult to have lunch before 1pm. Both external and internal location, very large and comfortable (apart from the 2 tables near the entrance to the toilets which are not the best and we unfortunately ended up there one evening...), competent, kind and super fast staff!
Highly recommended!

After hearing good things about this restaurant I went to dinner with my partner.
What about appetizer nothing fancy
Spaghetti mussels and clams total disappointment.
A huge plate of spaghetti with 8 mussels and 6 clams and some empty shells.
A fried squid, which to me seemed squid,
Disorganized waiters who do not know which table to put the dishes coming out of the kitchen.
And finally the very annoyed cashier .. who doesn't even ask you if everything was fine, doesn't mention a smile.
I gave a star because less you can not!!!

Just entered greeting the staff no one answers, 3 employees greeted and all three pretend nothing happened passing us in front and ignore us. After five minutes incredulous arrives a robust lady also without saying goodbye and tells us that we have to leave the room to make the reservation , we leave the room and she asks us how many we are and brings us back inside the room, astonished we return and makes us sit at a table in front of the kitchen from where every 10 seconds a door opened passing the various waiters and an incredible smell of fried came out.
We all order a fish fry after a few minutes we need it but inedible, a chewing gum was definitely better, the more it chewed and the bigger it grew, we all barely swallowed continuing to drink to be able to swallow it.
We all leave two thirds of painful frying on the plates and going to the counter we ask for the bill.
Always the robust lady (I think the owner from how she acted) observes the table and despite seeing all the plates almost full of frying does not say anything, presents us with the bill and makes us pay not even issuing the receipt, we greet her and she does not even answer.
We go back to the hotel and all of us are sick with stomach pains and everything on our stomachs. We have to leave otherwise it was to report what happened.
Rude, inappropriate to customers but more incapable of preparing a simple frying of fish.
Never again. Not recommended.

We stayed in this restaurant with our local friend but it was unfortunately a great disappointment from all points of view of both food and service. The spaghetti mussels and clams were tasteless and almost without seafood, the two fries seemed assembled with scraps of other dishes. The wine brought (half a liter) long before the first course and obviously warmed up, undrinkable.
The only decent thing was the sorbet. The very long service is nothing short of attentive as if he did not like us. A place to absolutely avoid.
Too bad because with little more attention, they would have made a good impression.
To be avoided absolutely

We stayed twice in this restaurant: for dinner (Friday, with reservation) and lunch (Sunday). On this last occasion, despite (group of six) not having booked and the place being crowded, the staff very kindly did their best not to make us wait too long for a table. It is still recommended to book. The restaurant, on the seafront, is welcoming, always full, a little noisy but not to the point of disturbing; nice, simply furnished, it is managed by a cooperative that competently cooks the varied assortment of what is caught by the members of the cooperative itself. The menu is, therefore, essentially fish (but not only: excellent “baby menus”): we greatly appreciated the freshness and quality of the raw material, with well-cooked and tasty dishes (unforgettable mixed fries, delicious mussel soup ...). The portions are always very generous, accompanied by a pleasant vermentino. Improveable the conclusive sorbet. Despite the crowds, the staff is very fast, friendly and always available. The proposed recipes constitute a unique experience, and, in relation to the quality of the food, the prices appear to be completely normal.

Great location on the sea front, got there early because we didn’t have a booking, no problem and we asked to be sat inside, service was prompt and drinks arrived straight away, I had a beautiful craft beer and the waiter explained the menu was on a qr code to be downloaded on our phones, a bit daunting for us tecnophobes but it was easy and we could view in english which was such a bonus as we had previously been googling menus. W hen the waiter arrived he gave information such as some of the dishes were large enough to share so we had one starter which was mussels in soup which was a actually a beautiful tomatoe, chilli and herb sauce, superb. I ordered Swordfish and my wife asked for sardines which were unfortunately not available but she was more than happy with Spaghetti and clams which was large enough to share, we also ordered the obligatory chips but doubted we would actually need them but thank goodness we did as we’ve never had chips like this , thin and crispy not to be missed. The swordfish was tender and juicy and the spaghetti had the taste of the sea with lots of clams. All in all a most memorable meal served and cooked by professionals, love to go back again.

Local beachfront, we had expressly asked for grilled tuna from the day before, to avoid running out of supplies, it was delicious, tender and fatty. The waiters were very kind and given my puzzlement in choosing between baked tuna cheek and tuna tripe, in addition to the dish ordered, they brought us a taste of the other, which we were very pleased. Good fish, fair bill.

We came to lunch on a Tuesday in 4 family, the food and very good we ordered mussels, mixed fish appetizers and frying.
Too bad about the young waitress short with tattoos who was very rude, and rude I asked for desserts and she answered me very annoyed, the rest of the waiters were very kind and friendly pity for her who ruined the atmosphere created that in the end I did not even order the dessert I paid for and we left.
Pass them these words if you do not like working with the public and you do not have the patience not to go to work in hospitality, I have been working for 11 years in the restoration in London and something like this has never happened to me!
Definitely not going back

We stayed here to eat for two nights during our stay in Sant’Antioco, but... Once you try this you can also stop looking! Quality is the prerogative of the restaurant so I don't waste time looking for anything else and I come back here every time! The restaurant is a continuous activity of tourism and fishing tourism of the owners and already this is synonymous with freshness! a good part of the menu changes every day according to the catch so every day there is some pleasant surprise. The first night we had two appetizers (mussels marinara, amberjack salad) and spaghetti with lobster (fresh choice at the counter). Second evening another encore of appetizers (mussels marinara, grilled cuttlefish always fresh, chosen and weighed at the counter) and two spaghetti with tuna sauce and curl. Good choice of local wines, very kind staff, with a smile and always available even during peak hours.
Seafront location with the possibility to eat outside or even inside with air conditioning.
Finally the price is great given the quality of the fish that is offered (120 bar 90 € in two with bottles of wine both evenings)! Highly recommended definitely!

We arrive at the restaurant around 10.15pm asking if there was a table for dinner (Saturday evening). They set us up saying that we have to hurry because the kitchen would close soon and that everything would come together (first, second and fried). We accept this and sit down, ordering as soon as possible given the premise.
The waitress, annoyingly, returns three times the requests for first made telling us, in installments, that it was no longer possible to prepare them. Exhausted we agree to take all three of the linguine scampi (after yet another struggle since at the beginning we had also bounced this request); good and generous quantity, but arrived at 11.15 pm.
Last but not least: we order some myrtle and, while we were busy drinking it, the same waitress returns with her savoir-faire and the bill in hand saying “this is the bill, it’s midnight, we are closing”.
The location deserves and the potential is there, but the service and management are not in line with the money required!

We had lunch for a family birthday, undecided on what to take we ordered the equivalent of an appetizer and a first course each plus three fried that we ate in a shared way. As appetizers we had mussel soup, octopus salad, cuttlefish salad and burrida.
Excellent product quality, a special note for the mussels, the soup sauce was really great.
As first courses we chose pasta with scampi, with clams and mussels and tuna amatriciana. They were all excellent but also here a special mention to pasta with scampi.... Seasonings not to be able to resist making the shoe....
Even the mixed fry was dry and crispy.
The average high expense adequate to the raw materials offered, however the portions are really plentiful and you can safely divide an appetizer a first a second in two for an easier meal.
Experience recommended and to be repeated.

Clean place and fast service.
The menus are only available with the QR code and this is a limitation... since the dishes on the list are accompanied by photos... it takes a long time to download it.
We asked for a "voice" menu, the waiter was a bit listless and the choice of dishes was not easy.
Taken as an appetizer and burrida.. (dogfish or skate in almost carpione with walnut flakes) good.
Then spaghetti with clams.. too greasy and 3 fried dishes only squid / calamari and prawns / paranza. Very good, not greasy, not dry and generous portions.
I took a plate of chips as a side dish...pleasant surprise...not the usual frozen ones but made and fried by the kitchen...very tasty and delicious.
For dessert, a tiramisu. Good 3 plates of ricotta pancakes served thick and with honey. Typical Sardinian dole, very good and generous portions here too.
Good house wine (vermentino) and coffee and myrtle to finish.
Average prices. We'll go back but choose another first course.

Characteristic place on the port. Excellent quality fish-only restaurant. The catch (from them) is highly recommended: stewed or grilled, it is well prepared and presented. Very good quality/price ratio. Courteous and helpful staff. The wait is a little long but it's worth it. We stayed there several times during the holiday period. To try.
