Friendly owner and staff eager to greet you with their delicious BBQ. Highly recommended! I love the pork loin and brisket. Great sides.

First time here passing through. Ask about getting a board chopped sandwich and one staff member just looked at me, and the owner thought I said four chopped sandwiches, and I said no I want a board chopped beef sandwich and he said "Well why did you say that, it right there in the pot". Which was a covered crockpot... More

My wife and I were road tripping around Texas and came upon Ronnie' while checking out Johnson City one afternoon. It's a cafeteria style service with a nice country seating area. Just go! Excellent Briquette & Pork barbeque. I also loved the Potato Salad as it is mustard, not mayonnaise based. We were very glad that we stopped! They sell... More

Good food. Love the chicken. The baked potatoes are really good as well. They do sell out fast. Cafeteria style ordering with plenty of seating. Very friendly!

I was driving through and stopped in to see what Johnson city bbq was about. The people working there were extremely helpful and nice. I chose a three meat plate w/ brisket, sausage, ribs, green beans and potato salad. The ribs were really good and tender, but the brisket was lacking in flavor and tuff for a brisket. The sausage... Our favorite place to eat in Johnson City. We are usually passing though during lunch time, so it's a great place to stop and eat barbeque with the trimmings or you can get it to go. They are open for breakfast and lunch. Not sure if they are open on Sundays, but believe they are open other days.

On a day road trip and got brisket sandwiches to go. Meat was the best I have ever eaten. So tender, smoked just right and the portions were big. Sauce was sweet and complemented the brisket. Staff was very friendly.

A great stop and the food was amazing. I love their BBQ sauce. I had the stuffed baked potato. Reasonably priced and quick service.

Food was mediocre at best. The brisket was tough and fatty. They were out of turkey. Potato salad was good. Green beans and corn salad were average. We have had much better barbecue in Texas.
