Thai Tep Ten is a great place in Richmond. The staff is very nice and friendly and diverse. Made up of some VCU students. It is a hangout and eating spot for people of all ages. I have lived in Richmond for 2 years now,...I fell in love with this place the first time I came here. The outside isn't much to look at, the inside is cozy, warm, and fun atmosphere. The food is of a great quality and quantity for a fair price. It is in a nice part of Metropolitan Richmond, about a 7 minute walk from VCU's main campus. I have enjoyed every trip to this place and will continue to go there for as long as I can. All of their appetizers are amazing and worth trying.More

First visit great food, fast service. Looks new. Had Red Curry. Now it’s asking for at least 100 characters.

I can never decide between fried rice or curry when I go places - and when I saw this on the menu, my heart fell in love all over again!! But really, it was delicious. Service was quite slow - it took about 40 minutes...to get our food, but it was worth the wait. The prices were great as well - I made three meals out of mine :)More

Found the pace by accident and were pleased with the food. I always try Pad Thai the first time I go to a new Thai place. If that is good, the rest of the food is generally worth eating. We have been back twice (yes,...Pad Thai was good) and have enjoyed everything we ordered. The only complaint I have is the music. This is a Thai restaurant and I do NOT want to listen to rap. So, would I recommend the food .... YES! Ambiance (music) leaves much to be desired.More

Good food, quick, consistent. Nothing special, though. Location convenient to VCU, Siegel Center, new Arts Center.

Being just a few blocks from VCU this place was just great to find. Their spring rolls are just in the right fashion and taste, and the stir fried noodles wonderful especially if you are having it with a nice fresh shrimp. They also have...complimentary rolls which are as great as everything else.More

We have had Thai all over Richmond and in the end we return to this little cafe. We go for the food which uses fresh ingredients and the owner takes care to cook these dishes with perfection. I have had traditional Thai meals here and...some well known ones. The Pad Thai with Chicken or Tofu is incredible as well as Tom Yum Goong, and you can order mild, medium, American hot, or Thai hot. We order dinner and lunch from this little spot on Grace street and are always happy with the outcome.More

I had a Pad Thai that was not quite the delicious flavor I was expecting. In general, service was slow and I had to ask for a water refill. However, my wife enjoyed her noodles with shrimp.

This place is amazing and I eat here at least 3 times a week when I'm in RVA. I am vegetarian and almost every dish can be prepared without meat which is a plus.

Clean seating area, medium lighting, very close to VCU campus. One guy was waiting on the whole restaurant, but service was still quite fast. Food is spicy (there is even a warning posted on the wall), but quite delicious.

I was pleased with our meal and the service at this storefront Thai restaurant near VCU in Richmond. We were there for an early dinner, so that may have influenced our experience in both food quality and service in a positive way. My son swears...this is among his top three choices for Thai in the area, and he's very picky. Maybe it has something to do with the generous portions . . . In any event, we'll return. Parking is on street or in a nearby lot, both metered.More

I ate the Bangkok Tofu, and got stomach cramping and severe acid reflux from Thai Top Ten's Food. My throat/esophagus continued to burn and was sore for 3 days. The food was fried and drenched in a pool of oil. The food had no flavor...and I will never go back to this place. Do not recommend Thai Top Ten.More

The food was phenomenal. But the service, pretty awful. Our waitress was the only one on the floor, and also seemed to be working the bar and in the kitchen. She also put in our order wrong, and we had to wait additional time for...the correct meal to be made. But the food was great...So if you don't mind waiting for your food, risking the incorrect order, and not having your server really available, the food might be worth it.More

Was expecting really excellent Thai food based on reviews from friends and neighbors, and was a little disappointed. The chicken satay appetizer was very ordinary, so was the shrimp tempura. I had masaman curry which was good but not outstanding. The pad thai was average....The service was excellent and the restaurant has a very clean and cheery interior.More
