Being a relocated NYer, there are a few basics things that I miss – a good slice of pizza, a hero (not a sub!), and a good bagel. Now, there are some that like Panera, some that like Einstein. Different strokes for different folks, but for me there is nothing like a bagel from Cupertino’s. These are truly NY bagels,... More

If you need a top shelf breakfast sandwich on the go, do yourself a favor and grab one from Cupertino's. I'm not a bagel connoisseur, but the bagel is good and their breakfast sandwiches are filling. Even the oddball veggie bagel sandwich is apparently delicious (this comes from the wife). There are approx 10 tables, but you can enjoy the... More

Be careful - don't try to show up a little before closing - you could waste your time and money on the trip. Doors closed and locked before closing time. Open sign still on, staff inside, but doors locked 5 mins before closing. I guess it takes too long to toast a bagel, gotta close early to avoid long delays.... More

Being from New York there's nothing worse than buying a bagel from a grocery store that tastes horrible. I looked all over while in Virginia and found this beautiful, heavenly place. I am a true lover of onion bagels. Not only did they have delicious onion bagels as well as: everything, poppy, sesame, seeded, (you name it, they got it)... More

The service is not always the friendliest but the bagels are great. It's a little funky to get to since the shopping center has no entrances off Cox Rd. You have to come in from the rear.

Every time I travel to the Short Pump area on business, usually once a month, I head to this bagel shop afterwards for a great deli sandwich & a bag of bagels to take home. Great pastrami sandwiches. The reubens and other offerings are great too. It is a small place, quiet and relaxed. My absolute go to.

This bagel shop is one of the best in the Richmond area. The bagels are fresh, and breakfast sandwiches are tasty. The bagels have a little sweetness in the dough compared to other shops. The cookies they have are a great value. I love the Marzipan (Rainbow) cookies.

The owners maybe from NY but the bagels are not! I grew up in NY and know what Bagels and Deli are suppose to be. The bagels here did not impress me. They were ok but not worth standing in line for.

Perhaps a little difficult to locate for a first visit, but once found you will return often. Cupertino's Bagels are baked fresh every night with all the varieties expected. We alway buy a Baker's dozen (13th one is free) and have NEVER BEEN DISAPPOINTED! Lots of regulars come here especially on the weekends. The store closes at mid-afternoon so they... More

If you want the best New York Bagels and you happen to be in Richmond, Virginia, this is the place to go! Not only are the owners from New York (accents and "the look"), they have perfected the recipe! They are open early in the morning and close by 2 p.m. All of their bagels are baked fresh during the... More
