My wife and I decided to give this place a shot based on good reviews of their burgers. My wife got a blue cheese burger and said it was good. She got the half pound which was $2 more than the 1/4 ($7 vs. $9). Thinking for that price it should include a side but it did not. I had... More

Awesome burger with a great taste on a very good thin bun. The onion rings were decent, too, and service was exceptionally fast. It's not the best burger place in town but it's one of the top places to eat on the Shockoe/Church Hill side of town. It's a bit divey inside but prices are very reasonable, service is fast... More

Meh. More of a bar than a restaurant. Sat at a table and the bartender/server was friendly and efficient. Her playlist was rocking. My boyfriend was belting out every word of the Run DMC, Biggie, and Salt n Pepa coming through the sound system, as were many other patrons. Decor was an after-thought, again more bar less restaurant. The menu... More

The service is great, I'd like it if the food selection was a little better. However, it's a great place to just unwind after a long day.

While on the outside it does look like much inside you'll find a great burger and fries. Stop here for lunch after reading the reviews and was not disappointed. And yes it was even worth going out of my way to get there. The staff is friendly and helpful even gave recommendations when asked. There is a multitude of burger... More

The food is great, and the staff treats you like family the first time you walk through their doors.

Its a small place but the crowd is great. The service was much better than expected. I'd come more often if they could tame the fruitflies. They are seriosly awful

Calling an ace and ace........we aren't sure why this place isn't packed with people eating here. They have some of the best burgers in town. They have a fabulous blackened chicken salad and we love their Philly Cheese Steak. With that said...here is what you will get when you go. Mediocre atmosphere, a sometimes unpleasant bar crowd-depends on the day... More

This place definitely serves up a really good, no frills flavorful burger. Meat + cheese + mayo + lettuce + tomato. Add your own ketchup. It's served on a no-frills bun (the kind you buy at Kroger's), but that's okay. The meat is the star! The quarter lb was big enough for me, but if you're really hungry try the... More

This hole in the wall has great burgers. Other than that, just another watering hole.
