We came here for our Christmas Eve lunch. It specialises in seafood so for mains we all shared a big mixed seafood platter. It was soooo delicious! The battered squid was my favourite. I also had an anti pasti beforehand the gnocchi and that was also divine. The thing that sets this place apart from other restaurants is the excellent... More

Don't let the tiny front door mislead you! Inside you will find a grand size restaurant Not great decor but that doesn't matter as the welcome and the food is what is important AND excellent. The hostess/cook is so bubbly we asked if she was always this way. "Si, era nata cosi!" Yes, I was born this way! Always "positivo!"... More

We came across this restaurant by chance and what a find. From the smiling welcome through the 'best calamari fritti' my friends have ever eaten, tagliatelle con tartufi to die for, prawns with orange champagne sauce and heavenly dressed salad, we shall be back!

You go back in time indeed in this place. It it surprisingly big on the inside. The owners are so kind, he even speaks some French. The food also is remarkable. Fresh fish in the middle of Umbria. We ordered a bottle of wine that was not on the menu and didn't know the price. It was a great wine... More

This is the first time that I have ever eaten octopus so tender that it quite literally was a 'melt in your mouth' experience. The octopus was part of a shared mixed antipasto, the whole dish was delicious. To follow, my husband ordered seafood lasagne, it was rich, creamy and full of flavour, (well I had to try it) whilst... More

Good restaurant overall. Fish specialist, weird in Umbria soo far from the sea, but comes back to the father's times, he had a famous fish restaurant. Quite good pizzas, thin crust. But the bonus is the setting: a typical 1970s place. The strange thing is that the restaurant was opened only 4 years ago!

Da Cesare's is a hidden gem. Unless you know in advance it's general location you will likely not find it, but you should make the effort. We stopped for lunch and were the only ones there. It is a seafood restaurant that delivers. The calamari was tender and delicious while the pasta with mussels and clams was the best I... More
