I have eaten here probably 20 times over the last years and I can highly recommend it. Try the Tuna and Mango salad.

My husband and I visited this restaurant on our first night in Alora. We thought it expensive, but decided to give it a try. I had lamb chops, which were extremely over-done. My husband had a cuttlefish starter and an octopus main. Both were fine- nothing special. We had a bottle of water and one beer. The bill was €44.... More

We ate here in September 2016 and it was superb. We ordered 4 individual tapas dishes and 2 sharing tapas, desert, wine and coffee. It was just the right amount and cost about 50 euros, which we thought was great value for this quality. My personal highlights were the iberian honey pork and the chilled house red. Quite unusual to... More

We tried to eat at this place, once at lunch, once at dinner - closed both times. Maybe they're away for August, but a sign would be nice! :(

Great tapas, friendly staff, really tasty main meals. We live in the village and often just go and stand by the bar having a lovely glass of wine and some tapas, or we go into the restaurant where they serve great food (large portions). Definitely recommend the mango and (raw) tuna. Definitely recommend.

Excellent restaurant in the heart of Andalucia. The staff are very friendly and helpful a speak very good English. The dishes offered are amazing and the tapas starters are particularly special. A very good selection of both food and wines.

We saw the reviews in here and though we would give it a go. We were pleased we did! We phoned ahead to book a table for five, only half an hour before we needed it, a we wanted to walk down, making sure they had a space for us. The place was busy, the menu all looked delicious. We wanted... More

I live in alora and can highly recommend casa abilios... I visit quite often for tapas on an evening out. In the warmer months they have 5 or 6 tables and chairs outside for dining. With a great specials board you can always try something different even though the tried and tested tuna, duck and prawn dishes are superb. My... More

Nice restaurant with a good selection of wines kept in a wine fridge - Bravo! Got crepes with mushrooms and foie sauce. A nice dish that would have been better if the crunchy nuts had been less sweet. The risotto with prawns, asparagus and mushrooms were creamy and nice. The wines by the glass were ok but served at the... More

We stayed in Alora between the 12th -19th of May. Enjoying good food on our holidays, we were not disappointed by Casa Abilio. Having read reviews we decided it was worth trying. The restaurant is located behind the church on the main street. It is just a door and doesn't look much but it is not be underestimated. We had... More
