The high tea experience was very good, great tea selection, very yummy cakes, cookies, sandwiches. My only qualm was that there is one long table that you share with a lot of people and so it is very hard to get in and out to go use the bathroom without disturbing people to get up so you can get by.... I mean everyplace sells good coffee these days. And the pastries that I've tried have all been fine. I've always found this a great place to meet a friend. I've always been able to find a quiet corner and the setting is comfy and intimate.

I went in for the high tea on a Tuesday afternoon with absolutely no expectations as I had read a lot of bad reviews about the place. But I was in for a pleasant surprise as I really had a good time here. They have a wide selection of teas and the high tea also had cupcakes, quiches, brownies, cookies... More

Though I live in the next neighborhood over, I'd never been to Dr. Bombay's till now- I had no idea what I was missing! This tea house, is cozy, with a beautiful personality. If you're looking for an upscale and pretentious cafe experience this is NOT the place. A true neighborhood gem. Tea selection is amazing, and I love their... More

Rude service, dry packaged food, very crowded space, grungy looking and feeling, handicapped entrance/exit dangerous. ( may not be legal. Dangerous drop off) Do not expect a nice "High Tea". Will not recommend to others. Having second thoughts about donating books.

It seemed the only guests having a good time at Dr. Bombay's were those with headphones working on their computers using the free wifi. Also, children coming in for ice cream. This space is not conducive for intimate/special tea parties, large or small, due to table set up and rude inept service.

I really wanted to contribute to the charity at Dr.Bombay's, which supports young women in India, so we decided to have a High tea bridal shower for 20 guests costing over $500.00. Unfortunately the Manager was rude from the minute we got there. She chastised me for being ten minutes early while I was lugging two bags of books to... More

My husband and I brought my mother-in-law here for her 72nd birthday. She is British and we thought she might enjoy the experience. When we first arrived, the girl behind the counter said "we don't really do tables, just sit wherever you can fit in." We found 3 open seats at the end of a long table with other guests.... More

We had afternoon tea (which included a tea caddy full of pastries) which was very good. In a hipster-y part of town (in case you're not into that vibe)

We had reservations for 4 for a birthday for a close friend. They prepared the best table in the entire restaurant for us - right in the bay window so we could see the view. The selection of teas is just fantastic. It was hard to decide on just two! But we took our server's suggestions and we were not... More
