This is my favorite neighborhood breakfast spot. Service is friendly and the food is always as requested. Prices are reasonable.

We took my parents out to brunch a couple weeks ago. I'm familiar with this small chain and I really like their food. I so wish that they could do something to take the edge off how loud the place is - Ugh! Totally ruined our meal. Had to raise my voice so that my dad and I could talk... More
Had Eggs Christopher, their version of eggs benedict which were good but with very little hollandaise sauce - nothing special. Wife had an omelet that also was average in taste & quality. We intended to share a fruit bowl but there was little to "share". Have eaten at several J Christopher's in the Atlanta area & seek them out for... More
I have eaten at J. Christopher's before and have been unimpressed. However, I recently had lunch with a colleague and he wanted to eat there. So, I thought I would give them another chance. We were both in the mood for breakfast although it was the lunch hour. We had coffee and breakfast and I have to admit it was... More
J C's has been around a long time. When they first opened, their food was new and unique. They have never changed the basic menu, so, while the food is still good, the menu is no longer a compelling reason to visit, given the competition in the area. Same thing for the service, good, but not as good as it's... More
I recently had breakfast at J. Christopher's and found the entire experience to be average. The food was average. The portion size was average. The price was average. I'd likely return if in a bind but would prefer to venture out to other breakfast spots in the future.
Wanted to try Buttermilk Kitchen on Roswell Road just a few miles inside the perimeter, but got a late start. Arriving at 9:30 am in the rain is not a good idea in Atlanta. Place was packed. There was not even standing room. OK... On to our second choice just outside the perimeter. No good. Line out the door So... More
Had breakfast with 2 friends, mid week. Met at 7:30 and not crowded. Service good as was food. Was surprised that it was easy to be seated and have conversation as I know on weekends it can be very crowded and noisy. Prices and food pretty standard with other J Christopher's.
Went for Sunday brunch and went early to avoid the wait. Unlike many Atlanta breakfast choices J Christoper does call ahead seating which works well. The food is average with the usual breakfast fare. The omelets are 2 egg but are not whipped and tend to be dry. The skillets are very good. The service on this visit was very... More
