Had a great dinner. Good tasting food and really close to the Westin hotel downtown. The chicken salad that was at the salad bar was awesome! I also had something for the first time...pickled watermelon rinds. They were delicious. I enjoyed a nice dinner outside...More

Was in Atlanta for a couple of days on a business trip and this was my one chance to try Southern food (not been in this part of the US before) - went for the classics/cliche mint julep and southern fried chicken, having never tried...More

This restaurant was across from our hotel so we decided to try it. It is quaint and casual and deceptively large. The food was just ok. We had the fried chicken, the ribs and fried chicken and the salmon fir dinner, the crawfish dip as...More

I was in Atlanta for a work conference. My colleague and I had a drink at the bar. The bartender was friendly and accommodating - letting me have a taste of Mint Julep (which I did not like), and then fixing a fantastic Hurricane-esque concoction....More

Gone With the Wind. She , Aunt Pittypat, played a part. Great place. Piano player is lots of fun. Terrence, our waiter, is really enjoyable. Not merely a “ waiter”. He is really fun to visit with during the meal. His personality deserves great mention....More

Home in middle of the city. Outside seating and walk downstairs to the salad bar. Staff was o.k. Catfish with pecans was great.

We arrived at Pittypat's Porch a half an hour early and were asked to wait in their open porch area (which was fine because they don't start serving dinner until 5 and it was 4:30). At exactly 5:00, they started calling parties - and the...More

Stopped here during the MLS All-Star Game week in Atlanta with hopes of getting some authentic southern food. I have the chicken and rib combo which came with a salad bar, assorted Bread/muffin Basket and some sides. The chicken was some of the driest chicken...More

Our women's group met at Pittypat's Porch for dinner recently. We arrived 10 minutes before 5pm and had to wait in the "open porch" area, sitting in the rockers. Then, when it was time, we had to go down the stairs or back outside to...More

We eat here a few times a year, when I’m in town for work. We always sit in Terrance’s area. The fried chicken is a must!

Downtown Atlanta's Oldest Southern Dining restaurant since 1967. We are a "Gone With the Wind" themed restaurant, a place where the characters presence are felt from the menu to the overall decor to the memorabilia on the walls. We have created a menu of Southern classics that have been enjoyed by groups large and small from the moment we opened our doors. Dishes such as, Aunt Pittypat's Fried Chicken, 12 Oaks BBQ Ribs, Georgia Catfish, just to name a few. Our menu also includes delicious appetizers and tempting desserts made fresh in our bakery daily. We have a full bar, plus draft beer by local breweries and a Specialty Drink menu to wet your whistle. So come on by and let us show you our Southern Hospitality!
