It's lovely to have a restaurant in Concord that is so welcoming and versatile, but I fear that its aim exceeds its grasp. The steak frites was far from classic; the rigatoni Bolognese had way, way too much cinnamon in the sauce; the dry-rubbed chicken wings had a sticky sauce. Just not a good place to go for dinner.

Stopped by while in the area. Had a bowl of soup and Pecan Chicken Salad. Both were excellent. You order at the counter and then have a seat. The food took about 10mins. The price is a little heavy for lunch without a waitress. However good lunch in Concord.

This local hangout has great food, but as a local, I grow tired of this menu. This is also where the local drunks hang out and never leave their bar stools. Staff is friendly and attentive. Quite noisy and needs drapes or a rug to absorb sound.

I've had everything here from Mako Shark to their big, old burger and have yet to be unhappy with my choices. Food has always been great with interesting selections, plenty of locally grown stuff, excellent beer selection and laid back atmosphere with reasonable prices. A keeper!

First time we tried this low key hot spot for dinner and we very much enjoyed the delicious, well-prepared entrees. Not your average sides with creative main dish. I had blue fish, which was the captain's cut, thick, moist, perfectly seasoned and nicely presented. We ordered one desert - apple crisp with ice cream, bland and nothing to write home... More

If you want to stand in line for 20-minutes at lunchtime to order your food at a counter and then find a table in a crowd doing the same thing as you are, be my guest. The food here is decent for what they do, but unfortunately, what they do here is mostly boring and predictable. Good breakfasts, good for... More

We frequent this restaurant often - all times of day. With and without the kids. No matter the visit there are two consistencies - fantastic fresh food. And friendly but very very slow service. Recommend the Sunday jazz brunch.

We stopped here for a quick bite as we were heading into Boston to do the Freedom Trail. The bagels were good, the oatmeal was really good and filling. Lots of tv's around to catch the morning weather/news/traffic, so that was nice too.

This is an order at the counter kind of place. The service was friendly but not particularly good. When we arrived we were the only people ther on New Year's Day. They got a couple of items in our order wrong and the food came out all at different times. The food was good though. I really enjoyed my vegetable... More

We were excited to check out the Trails End Cafe as it will be coming soon to our hometown of Lincoln. We decided to head over early this evening (~ 6 pm) for a Friday dinner, and we're pretty happy with the restaurant upon arrival. It was clean, lots of other families, not too crowded. We were optimistic. Unfortunately, it... More
