Very good restaurant. Excellent food (the burrata is exquisite), modern menu, generous portions. We went as a group of five on a very quiet night (officially they open at 20.45) and had to knock on the door. But once inside we were made SO welcome...- the lady serving translated the whole menu into English for us, with great explanations. Nice touches, too - the petit fours came for five even though only two wanted coffee. And we went back a few nights later and it was just as good. Highly recommendedMore

We went to Azacan on TripAdvisor's reviews. It was fantastic. Started by trying to get in through the wrong door which amused everyone. The entrance is on the side! This place has a small terrace which is beautiful. Apart from the food, we were treated...to an amazing flyby by bats - owner said. I thought swallows but looked much the same. As old fogies we don't eat so much nowadays but we did try. We started with Mozzarella with red wild fruits and wonderful mushroom and cheese fondue. Mains was carpaccio of prawns with black rice and quails in a chocolate sauce. All these were quite sublime. The owner then brought me a cheeseboard for free in case I hadn't eaten enough. It was a high quality meal in a lovely village. Sunday night was quite full so book. They do not speak much English as you would expect in mid Spain, so translate the dishes on their website before you go - it helps you not miss out.More

We really liked this little restaurant. The menu offers some traditonal dishes, but with a more modern touch. A plates we had chosen were tasty and they looked really nice. They gave the choice between two different kinds of bread with the meal. A very...friendly service and a nice place to relax and enjoy a good meal.More

A really nice surprise to find this restaurant, a bit hidden in rural Spain. Very nice service by a a very friendly and modest waiter. The cooks a married. She does the entries and deserts, he does the main courses. This must be a very...good marriage indeed. Which tops it of is the lovely South American music on the background. If you are ever in Hervás, please yourself with a visit to this restaurant. You will leave a happier person.More

Perfect mix of a trendy and relaxed restaurant. Small (changing) menu with classic twists on classic Extremeño dishes and good meat and fish. Service was excellent. Very happy to have dropped in.
