one of those rare places where you want to order everything on the menu. great options (including for vegetarians), original without being over-wrought, excellent quality, perfectly fresh seasonal ingredients, all in a light and pleasant atmosphere. friendly staff, very accommodating for small children, beautiful location....if only there were more restaurants like this!!More
We were at Sesamo having our first wedding anniversary.
The atmosphere is very pleasant , simple and elegant, has a very nice patio with a beautiful view of Hervas church and part of the village. So beautiful!
Incide has some couple of large and...comfy tables, good lighting and music, was a little trip to Extremadura listening just regional music.
Every single detail was carefully placed.
We had a bottle of sparkling wine.
Roast beef as appetizer with a very short glass of broth, the meat was tender and juicy. The light soup was perfect! Something hot and delicate for start!
My husband got a beetroot salmorejo, with vanilla ice cream on top, so delicious!! Is a puree that usually is made from tomato and bread. This plate was a surprise!
By that moment we were so happy for our choice. :)
For a main course we chose a leg of lamb in honey sauce and a fresh salad with cheese and sun dry tomato to share.
When I tried the lamb literally I felt to cry, it brought me memories of childhood in my country. It's artisan taste evoke the land and traditional way of Spanish cuisine.
I strongly recommend this plate!!
By dessert we share a mango cheese cake made with Mascarpone cheese. Was a beautiful presentation, it had a wafer biscuit similar to those in the Catholic Church, another characteristic detail!
The service was excellent, very attentive, kind and friendly!
We love Sesamo! And we absolutely recommend this place. Is no way to get disappoint.!

Totally worth a visit. Really made my day, the food was excellent and the waiter really nice. I tried 'Gazpacho with strawberries' amazing, plus an artisan beer that tasted delicious! Go there or be squared! They will not disappoint you.
In a small town with many restaurants this small friendly restaurant is well worth finding, it is down a narrow alley. The staff are all very helpful, the menu is interesting and the food is of high quality.
It isn't the cheapest restaurant in town...but the food you are served is well worth the few extra euros. Give it a go, you won't be disappointed.More
We came across with this restaurant while walking in the Jewish neighborhood, we didnt know anything about it before, but menu seemed interesting. We were surprised of the quality!! We had black pudding and pine nuts croquettes, "Torta del Casar", "chuletón", puffed pastry ("milhojas") and...brownie, all delicious and one of the best diner in my life. Restaurant is very warm and stuff very friendly with good recommendations for wine.
Thanks for surprising us so positively and the wonderful diner.
Attention: sunday evening is closed (we went back again but this time it was, unfortunately, closed)More
