Was down in Frederick for a few days visiting friends and had the pleasure of finding this awesome restaurant. We sat outside on the patio to enjoy the great weather and great food! Wait staff was very friendly and helpful with our choices. Thanks for a wonderful evening! Will definitely go back when in the area!

Tacos were great! Margaritas were good. Solid place to get drunk and brunch out. Highly recommended.

The service was very friendly but the food was bland and unmemorable. Lots of tomato and very little flavor. Good space and sound control-- may be good for a generic family restaurant with picky eaters.

We have been going to La Paz for years, but the last few times we have gone it has been disappointing. Today was the last time. We were there after the lunch rush but had to wait 20 min for a table for 5 because they didn't have enough wait staff upstairs where the bigger tables are. Our waiter was... More

We wanted to love this place, but ended up being disappointed. The food is very mediocre (average, at best) and quite bland. My chicken fajita dinner was mostly onions and peppers, but very little chicken; the refried beans were also bland and their texture was homogenous. Moreover, the tortillas were very soft and bland, and I really doubt that they... More

Was very disappointed. Always loved lapaz but I ordered salsa to go a few weeks ago and it was awful. Seemed like is was really old and spoiled. We actually had to throw it away.

I hate giving low stars but really, if you are looking for good food try to find something better. All of our meals (four) were a disappointment, and the refried beans tasted - literally - like cigarette smoke. They should fix the squeaky ceiling fan and revamp the menu.

My family and I went here. We had a party of nine and had to make a reservation early in the week. My husband and I arrived about 30 mins before the rest of the family so we decided to get a cocktail at the downstairs bar. The bartender was less than friendly to say the least. I ordered the... This is a fun place to eat - both inside and out. Located right on Carroll Creek - it's a great location. The Mexican food is average but good for the cost. Their course shredded salsa is worth the stop. Some of their other dinner selections are quite good. Ask for the special margaritas though - they are sooooo much... More
