Found it by chance, but pleasantly surprised by the quality and choice of fare on offer. The baked goods looked appetising, but we just wanted a light lunch, so had one of the filled jacket potatoes. Had a large pot of tea for two which was nice and strong. Sat in the front part of the bistro which was busy,... More

A really lovely cup of tea with home made sausage roll and apricot tart. Yet tart would have benefited from a little cream, but it was very tasty and not overly sweet.

We visit The Old Rock Bistro several times on every visit to Cromer because the coffees are brilliant and the food is delicious. We usually have a crab baguette and latte but it was so cold when we visited that the home made soup and crusty bread seemed to be in big demand.

Went to visit friends in Cromer. Popped into this cafe. Very good homemade soup. My friend had the cheese baked potato. Both hot and well served. Ideal place to get out of the rain or rest your feet. Far better than the average cafe. And also good cakes.

It's a cold day in Cromer, although warmer than much of East Anglia and most places in mainland England. It's lunchtime. A hot soup is just what's required and the Bistro rises to the occasion magnificently. With a paper cup of satisfactory size, a lid and an offered spoon, both cups fitted the paper bag, v nicely. Reasonable price, good... More

The best dressed crab salad- and they gave us gluten free toast too. Pleasant staff, great food, good service!

Came across this place in the rain and glad we did. Good coffee and scone, which was very filling. Everything was spick and span. Obviously used by locals which is always a good sign.

Stopped by for a quick lunch having read the great reviews of this bistro. Had the crab baguette which was delicious. The meat was excellent and the bread was very well cooked. Also had the homemade brownie which was very tasty. A great experience topped by very good service.

Wonderful wonderful crab salad, excellent service helpful owner and staff. Wish I lived nearer. But Cromer folk on the pier is a good excuse

This is one of the best cafes in Cromer. Warm and friendly staff. We both had sausage rolls that were straight out of the oven and they were amazing. Lovely cup of coffee. Always worth a visit.
