We went on a Sunday lunch time as a family of 8. The food is typical pub grub and is reasonably priced. One person had the Sunday lunch which was nice and the burgers were nice. I had the hunters chicken which was a bit...bland, lacked taste and hardly any sauce. The lady who served our table, Caroline was very friendly and helpful. We were there for a couple of hours and were never made to feel rushed. Was nice and relaxing.More

Can we say a huge thank you to Laura who was serving behind the bar on Easter Monday. She was beyond helpful to my family when dealing with our food allergies and thanks to her we were able to enjoy a lovely lunch safe in...the knowledge our food allergies had been catered for. Other pubs and restaurants could learn a lot from her. In addition the food was delicious and all staff so friendly. Highly recommend and thank you again to Laura!More

Food was good but the service was shocking. Waited 45 minutes after finishing our mains but no one came to take our desert order or clear our dirty plates. When I enquired at the bar I was told they would serve us when they could,...which I would understand if the pub was busy but it wasn't. After waiting for an hour we decided to leave.More

As always a great meal here. Server was Caroline who always goes above and beyond. Highly recommend

Absaloutly awfal mains 2 adult 3 child roast all meat tough an fatty veg under cooked no flavour couldn't get the potatoes down they were so dry won't be returning who knew u could go so wrong with a roast dinner 🤢

Just want to say massive thank you to our server Caroline. Part of our party was late and there were a lot of orders. All to be paid separately. Came out for a Mothers Day lunch, we arrived early and the restaurant was able to sit us at the table straight away which was great. Our server was Elliott, who came and greeted us very quickly and he was very friendly, attentive and polite...throughout our meal, He also regularly checked that we were happy with anything and also offering us top ups on our drinks. When the main meal came, Elliot was quick to notice an item was missing off my son's plate and he very quickly got it with no delays. The meal as a whole like the service was excellent!! Will definitely return again.More

Lovely food and staff. Efficient service even though it was very busy. Especially Caroline who was a fantastic host!
