We had lunch here one day during our stay. The fish was terribly overcooked & a paltry amount for the price. The restaurant was very cold & service was poor. I find the positive reviews amazing as there was absolutely nothing positive about our lunch - especially not the cost of it. The inn does have a coffee shop, also... More

We totally enjoyed our dining experience in this restaurant. Food was fabulous and service was so friendly. Of course, we are in Mount Rainier so the view from our table was dazzling!

We enjoyed the "bourbon buffalo meatloaf" one evening, with delicious sides. The service was very good, the food tasty and presented nicely, and of course not cheap. All national park restaurants tend to be high, but it's all about location and limited dining options. We also had breakfast buffet, which was also quite good with plenty to choose from.

This is probably the highest elevation reachable by car at Mt Rainier Natl Park. It definitely has unrivalled scenery all around. But the service was terribly slow for the lunch time crowd. It might have been better if we stay in a nearby lodge without rushing to complete our drive back to Seattle before dark. This could have been partially... More

What a wonderful place to enjoy a breakfast, lunch, or dinner. The historic lodge is a must place to stay and have at least one meal here at the inn. Lots of good menu choices and the food is excellent. Enjoy the servers who come here from all over the world to work.

Some of the food was sad. Neither the salmon nor the meatloaf was tasty. Overdone both. The salads were good and the ribs special great. The seating was weird. The hostess sat us in front of the kitchen rather than at an empty window table. The next night we had to get the manager to seat us at a nice... More

We spent one night at the Paradise Inn. Lovely lodge and would definitely recommend it. there was the formal dining room and then a sandwich/breakfast spot to eat at. We decided to splurge on dinner and wish we hadn't. You could tell that the staff was exhausted and could just barely muster interest in the service. I had the meatloaf... More

We stayed at the Paradise Inn for a night. We got there in time for lunch. I ordered the halibut & chips for $19.25. I got two pieces of fish that look like they were out of a frozen package and the fries were too. I have to admit dinner was good. I ordered the prime rib. It was very... More

The food in the dining room is certainly more expensive than you'd find for comparable food in a different location, but it's Mt. Rainier! The food is decent, but generally not outstanding. On this visit we missed the Sunday brunch because they discontinued it two weeks before closing for the season. Boo. It's generally fantastic. Regarding the dinner menu: The... More

We were here late September. I believe they close for the season in early October. This is the only place to eat (except for takeout sandwiches) unless you want to drive 19+ miles down the mountain, them back up. My best guess is they know it and don't care. The waiter seem to have a "can't wait to get out... More
