Our hostess from Buffalo Rock Lodge recommended this place, and boy am I glad. She said to get there early because it would get very busy, and she was right. The site was where the powder was kept for building the scenic highway. Our service was awesome, the menu extensive, the food excellent, and a large artisan beer selection. They... More

This restaurant was located in the near our hotel. It was a nice sit down restaurant. Our kids liked the "fancy" feel of the restaurant. The food was great and servings were generous. There was an outdoor seating area to have cocktails and wait for a table. The service was very good as well.

We liked the food here so well we went back the next night. Our first night we ordered bison medallions in a bordelaise over polenta and the prime rib. Both were outstanding. The next night was pork lollipops, which were huge, with mashed potatoes & a shrimp pasta. Both excellent. Service was fast & friendly, salads were fresh and a... More

Enjoyed the food at this restaurant very much. Visited several restaurants in the vicinity and this by far was the best! Worth the extra money.

The food was above average. My husband had fish and I had lobster bisque. The lobster bisque was not traditional but the flavor was good. There was a Jim Beam and coke slushy that sounded intriguing to me. I was a little disappointed because it seemed very watered down and didn't have very much Jim Beam in it.

After reading the reviews on Trip Advisor, my wife and I had to try this restaurant. We had a short wait for a table. We ordered the game kabobs and bacon wrapped shrimp. The kabobs (Buffalo, Elk and Venison) and shrimp were very good and enough for the two of us. The service was fast and friendly.

Ate breakfast here with my husband and 7 year old son in August during a roadtrip. We all enjoyed our breakfast. I had an omelet, husband had a skillet, and the boy had pancakes. The tunes were oldies and the atmosphere was friendly but not overwhelming. We had enough coffee to go with our good-sized portions and the meal set... More

We ate there based on reviews.. I had prime rib.. Nicely done with a good salad as well.. My wife had a vegetarian Wellington.. Say what?? Couldn't believe she ordered it.. Well it was great... This is a very well run place!! Too stuffed to have dessert so you're on your own for that

We enjoyed the Powderhouse food. Quality and service were excellent, including attention to my husband's gluten free meal. There was enough leftover to have dinner a second day.
