Not the best pub for a quiet drink as quite open planned and can be noise when busy. However service good and staff efficient and friendly. Food tasty and always specials on boards etc. Special deals rum throughout week so can be quite economical to watch out.

It hasn't occurred to me until now to write a review of my local but given how often I go there, and how good it is, I thought I'd give them a shout out. It's a brewery owned pub (Brains) and it does all the usual things (food, pub quiz, sports) but it does them well. The pub is really... More

Absolutely fantastic sunday roast. Food was piping hot. Great selection of vegetables and a huge perfectly cooked yorkshire pudding. The star of the show was the beef, it was extremely tasty. Would deffinately recommend the merrie harrier for a fantastic sunday roast and for just £9 with either a starter or dessert, you cant go wrong. Great atmosphere, great service... More

Visited as a group of 4 enroute to a visit at Llandough hospital. It is conveniently close to the hospital, although a little awkwardly situated on the corner of a busy junction. My advice is to turn left out of the car park and not right! Staff were very friendly, the food decent, although one of our orders were slightly... More
