very local food, mostly fried and lots of provisions. Not for everybody, but if you are looking for a cheap filling lunch this is your place.

Not sure what I expected when our courteous taxi driver Oliver stopped us here for lunch. But we were left speechless by the wholesome nature of the food, and the ridiculously cheap cost (for us foreigners) of the whole meal. Breaded mahimahi (that's fish - dorado), with the works - they call them 'provisions' here: callallo, plantain, breadfruit, garden salad,... More

Stopped in on our way to a waterfall hike. Food was great! We had curry chicken roti for lunch and they were great. A little weird as an American to see chicken on the bone in a sandwich but the flavor was really excellent. I'll go back next time I'm on the island.

Upon arrival, the restaurant owners were polite but not particularly personable. We chose the national dish - chicken-saffron based broth with pigtail, bread fruit, green banana, plantain, and chicken (other stuff too, but I can't remember). It was DELICIOUS! We found this place 8 or so years ago. We were in Grenville looking to get something to take up to Grand Etang. I saw Good Food and that said it all. Parking is harsh but you get served quick.
