This was my second visit, having dined during Restaurant Week a couple of years ago, my husbands first. We will not return. We requested a quiet table in our reservation as we were celebrating our anniversary and we knew the restaurant is located within a busy hotel. We arrived early so we could have a drink at the bar. We... More

Six US customs & immigration stamps so far in my passport, and the meal at Humu was - by a long way - the best I've eaten in the United States so far. Very friendly and attentive service, with the server at pains to explain exactly what to expect from each dish (didn't disappoint). There were some truly amazing combinations... More

The food was unbelievably good! I had the crispy Mahi Mahi and my husband had the rack of lamb. I ate all of mine except the side of bok choy. The Mahi Mahi was delicious. I've never had fish that good. And the rice was purple. I was afraid it would taste weird, but it was very good. My husband... More

Our family had dinner at this place last month. Wonderful food, relaxed ambience and good cocktails. Very good.

Family vacation of 5 and had a wonderful time. The restaurant is in the Grand Wailea and surrounded by a lagoon - you cross over a bridge to get into a wonderful open air restaurant. The food selection is unique using non-traditional foods. Service was excellent. We will come back

We have been staying at the Grand Wailea for over 25 years and eating at Humuhumu for as long as I can remember. We had a large group of 10 adults and 11 children. We arrived and they had a beautiful table reserved for all of us. It went down hill from there. The waiter brought over the menu. It... More

The setting is one of the best in Hawaii. We went there several years ago and the food has gotten much better. I was really pleasantly surprised. Will go again

They have remodeled and taken out the great aquarium but it allows many more seats at the bar. Check the local sunset times, we are there December, January, February, and March, and it flows from before 6 to almost 7.

Great food with gorgeous view. If you are looking for a more romantic experience I would request a water view or table on the edge of the restaurant. We knew this Humu was a higher end restaurant but still found the prices reasonable/as anticipated and the food was very good. The sommelier was very nice and did ask if we... More
