We’ve been coming here for decades, were surprised when it sold, but now it’s as good as it was before, and the side Caesar was even better. The soup chef has been here for decades, so still the great fish chowder and chili. Huge burgers,...More

The atmosphere setting is relaxing noise level is a bit on the higher side. Service is prompt and very friendly. Food was cooked properly and tasted great. Prices are avg to a little higher side for comparable locations.

Freestones is a quintessential downtown New Bedfotd restaurant. Darwin the brass monkey hangs over the bar and has the best view in the city. I live and work in downtown NB and have met friends, colleagues, and customers at freestones.
