Lovely coffee shop in this remote town. Coffee and scones good. Staff were friendly and helpful. Pleasant gift shop in the same building.

Should have gone with instinct and not ordered food from here. Ordered fish & chips but when order eventually came out it was only chips. Was rudely told I had only ordered chips & not fish - admittedly I did not check what I had...been charged. The steak pie also ordered was just a few lumps of meat & jelly in soggy pastry.More

Used to be a great stop but it’s lost its charm. Nothing really fresh just disappointing, I won’t be stopping here any more which is a shame.

We were driving from Queenstown to Lake Tekapo when we stopped in at the cafe for a coffee and something to eat. The coffee was good but could have been hotter. You could get sandwiches, sweets and hot food as well. The sandwiches were fresh...and the pies were also good. It also has various souvenirs in this place. Worth a visit.More

Three of us stopped in for lunch, each choosing a pie. We only ate a few bites, then opted to throw the remainder out. Worst pies ever and just to top that off, they were $9.00 each.

We were in Omarama for lunch. This cafe looked the best option-there weren't many to choose from. I had a ham & cheese toastie. It was OK, I've had better. You are probably better finding another town to stop at.

Food horrible and dry and not one gluten free option. Not impressed with the pies and quiche was so dry it could have been in the pie warmer for days

Shop frontage country quaint and welcoming. Indoors the cafe’s ambience is warm and friendly. The food is all homemade, looks delicious and, better still!, tastes great too! The coffee was tops! Fresh beans and very well made. Step through to the Merino shop for beautiful...wares. Coffee and shopping … heaven!More

My husband and I stopped here for lunch on the way back to Christchurch from Wanaka. The staff are lovely, there was a good selection of cabinet food or you can order off the menu for some classic Kiwi tearoom style fare. Topped off the...visit with a generous tip top ice cream. Would recommend for a pit stop!More

We came here because the other café in the town looked like a poor relation of a greasy spoon. There was also a mobile kebab place. I went with a pie and some fruit cake: my companion took a big dagwood sandwich. We were both...satisfied. The place is clean. Well run, cool and has free wifi.More

Stopped here for lunch on a cold, wet day. Good food, quick service, nice cup of tea. And a great shop which had a sale on.

Beautiful little cafe to stop in between Wanaka and Lake Tekapo. The Hokey Pokey ice cream is the best I’ve had in NZ!

It was a good place to stop when you are travelling and want to take a break in the mid point between the famous Lake Tekapo and Cromwell. At least you will find a petrol station and a cafe here. This spacious cafe was on...average good with decent foods and drinks, and also a gift shop for for simple souvenirs such as T-shirts with prices similar to the big city like Christchurch.More
