You can feel mistaken, that you are not in NZ, but in England - such a good English pub with all its charm. And it seems it is the only place where you can get some food in Renwick after 5pm.

We were recommended to eat here while staying at Anglesea House, just down the road, we shared the seafood platter which was delicious, great atmosphere

It may not look like much on the outside, but this is where the town gathers. The food is top-notch, and everyone there looks happy. I had some remarkable lamb shanks here -- so good that I stopped in a second time the next night for their 2-for-1 pizza special. The pizzas were crispy and fresh from the brick oven.... More

We thought this was going to be an english pub experience but it wasn't. The only "english" beer was guinness and nothing else. Limited menu but I give them credit for a very good steak even if it was grossly overpriced at $35! My partner did enjoy his pizza. It was also very very noisy and not a lot of... More

After a long drive from Franz Josef it was great to have a lovely hot meal with super friendly staff. No matter that Quiz Night was in full swing, we had a laugh trying to guess the answers to the trivia questions. We also ended up renting bikes from here to do our winery tour.

The Cork & Keg was a great place to eat with a great pub atmosphere with couples and families alike enjoying the food and a drink. The Lamb Shank was so good we ate it two nights in a row. We didn't have a car with us so Aaron came and picked us up, had a table reserved for us,... More

Very English-like pub, great surroundings, fish and chips, pizza, and staff. Highly recommended if you're in the area. Wineries everywhere too.

Just returned after having a great meal here. Hubby had beef thai salad which was a big plate of food and very tasty, I had Lamb Shank which was also delicious. The staff were all very friendly and welcoming. Will definitely visit again

We discovered this to be a really good pub with friendly staff, a fine selection of beers and really good food. We were staying just across the road and ventured into the pub expecting it to be quite empty but it was buzzing with a really good atmosphere. There's a good sitting out area out back and on Thursdays they... More

Our hosts at Bonniebrook suggested it to us as it was the only place late in the night open and we were in for delight. It has a nice English Pub interiors, although the name is Irish there is Union Jack in the insignia :) Our steward was a great host and even though the kitchen was closed he organised... More
