When you come to visit Salt Lake City, this place is a must go. It's in the heart of the city in a cute, quaint building. The bread rolls are to die for, and it's what Lion House is known for. Ask any Utahn -- You'll never be able to eat regular rolls ever again.

Very neat restaurant with pretty good food. This is a good place to stop for a quick bite to eat while checking out the sites in temple square. The food is cafeteria style and there is plenty of seating. Easy place to go with kids.

We walked around Temple Square and stopped at the Lion House for lunch due to a recommendation from inside one of the temples. So glad we did! It is served family style(cafeteria line). Together we had the salmon, chicken, sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes with beef gravy, buttered rolls and salads. Everything was delicious!

We enjoyed our meal of pork chops and chicken. The mashed potatoes were pretty good but small portion too. The honey butter was great on the rolls. But they don't have a military discount. That needs to change.

We had as enjoyable lunch at The Lion House. The chicken pot pie and salmon were both excellent. The meals are served buffet style. Everyone on the staff was friendly and helpful. We recommend the Lion House for lunch.

This is a beautiful place to have a wedding luncheon - which we did. Having lunch here in the dining area is plenty yummy and fun.

The Lion House is a fun place to visit for a meal. The historical value is great, as it was the house of one of the founders of the Salt Lake Valley (Brigham Young). The food is really good, makes me think of a meal my grandma would make. There aren't a lot of menu options, but each time I've... More

I have attended many a dinner and have rented an area for a wedding reception. They know how to handle large groups. The food, whether a full dinner or just snacks, is always superb.

I wish every city had done. It is a clean welcoming place to eat. Excellent food and choices, that is price right. For $12.00 more or less, you get a plate full of good food like Salmon, meat loaf, chicken, turkey , etc, with rice or potato and veggies. It is cafeteria style but the dining room has more class....
