Oasis is one of the dependable, friendly, familiar places in the SLC food scene. It has been around for years, first as an upper end vegetarian place and now more balanced but still a great balance of quality, variety, and price. The outdoor seating is a real treat even indoors is cozy and quiet enough for great meeting, greeting, and... More

I've not been to Oasis Café in years and my friend had never been. We liked the serene ambiance and we were there early, so it was quiet. We found the staff very helpful and friendly, the service quite good. The food. Sigh. My steak medallions were wonderful, the rest of my meal and my friend's paprika crusted chicken were... More

It is expensive although the food is good. If you are looking for a "BIG MEAL", not the place to go. If you are looking for a nice atmosphere, and a bit eclectic - at least by Salt Lake standards you'll like it.

I went twice in one week while in town. The grill cheese was not my favorite, but the tomato soup was good. However, the spicy chicken sandwich was excellent! If I ever return, I will get that sandwich every single time.

I had the chicken gyro, and it was very tasty. Not sure I'd go here for dinner because for me it didn't have much of an atmosphere. It is a good brunch spot though.

Three couples met for dinner at the Oasis Café. We were promptly seated and enjoyed the tasting plate and antipasto appetizers. We had several main dishes including the sea bass, pan roasted halibut, sesame crusted ahi tuna and stuffed filet medallions. All were terrific and each priced between $20 and $23. The crème brule and decadent chocolate cake desserts were... More

Came here at 1230 for lunch and even though busy we got a table straight away. Food service was prompt. Had the tuna sandwich and I'm glad there were no fries or chips as the sandwich was tremendous. Tuna cooked to perfection and the wheat roll was warm and soft. The beer to accompany it was great. First time visiting... More

We were looking for a place that could cater to vegetarians as well as non-vegetarians and our local hosts suggested this place without hesitation. Turns out their instincts were right on. Great variety of food and beer (although they could have had more beers on tap), and quiet with a nice decor. Also connects to a bookstore where my daughter... More

We met a group of friends for Sunday brunch at Oasis. We were told the wait would be 30 minutes, but it was actually an hour. There was a large urn of coffee and some cups in the waiting area. We assumed it was complimentary and drank a cup while waiting. Late we found that we were charged $2 plus... More

Breakfast places can be boring, but this one has some interesting takes on it all. Vegetable hash with poached eggs was delicious and filling. Fresh and well cooked, but I wished for true poaching of eggs (not the form/half poached and grilled version). The cappuccino wasn't super great, but good enough to drink. Overall a tasty place I'd be glad... More
