Admittedly I am reviewing this for both the restaurant and hotel catering. The hotel is awesome, however for some reason in the food does not know how to keep food hot. I had food in the restaurant with a group, but whether the food was...More

The hotel is great, the chef sucks. The food here has been bad for years. I have eaten probably about 30-40 banquets there and they have been uniformly bad. They need to learn how to serve good food from the folks at UVU's Culinary School....More

Not just the standards. Yes, there was bacon, and sausage, even some cheese blintzes. But they also had a European style buffet of sliced meats, house cured salmon, and various cheeses. I loaded up on the Salmon. Also, had a selection of various cheeses and...More

My husband and I stayed in SLC overnight, and then went to the Grand America Sunday brunch. It was everything I had hoped it would be. The food was so amazing, they had anything and everything you could possibly want. Everything was perfect! I am...More

We had breakfast here almost every day. Very good food and the staff was friendly. Most days we were good on time, but they were very good to accomodate when we asked for a little quicker service. In town, for a convention.

The Garden Cafe is always very quiet: whenever I've eaten there, only a few of the tables are in use. The menu options are surprisingly limited for a restaurant in a five star hotel. Regardless, their entrees are tasty. Drawbacks: Service is slow. Seasonal desserts...More

Description
A word from The Garden Cafe - Grand America Hotel Ambassador of Special Events, Ali Raafati, works hand in hand with Executive Chef Phillip Yates to make every meal in the Garden Café extraordinary. The Garden Café’s menu pays tribute to the finest “local” ingredients Utah has to offer, such as Niman Ranch beef, Morgan Valley lamb and Zoe’s Farm produce. Our famed Sunday Brunch features live jazz and time-honored favorites such as roasted prime rib of beef, jumbo shrimp, oysters on the half shell, and Alaskan King Crab for starters…and a special buffet designed just for kids! You will want to save room for the dessert display created by our award-winning Executive Pastry Chef, Jeffery de Leon. Experience the joy of sharing good food with friends and beautiful surroundings at the Garden Café (wine list and cocktail service also available).
