Very popular place! We visited on Saturday night and only had about 30 minute wait. The wait staff was very friendly. It seemed like the food arrived very quickly. Our orders were correct and the food was outstanding. .

The Red Iguana has amazing Moles and Mexican food. It's one of those hole in the wall restaurants that locals love and rave about. The Chilli Verde Burrito's are spectacular. The staff is friendly and helpful in explaining about the different moles etc. I'd recommend that you get the mole sampler as an appetizer and try the various options...if one... More

I was in Salt Lake City for a week and I could have easily eaten here e Rey day. The choices where amazing . The service was great! I do wish they had a tiny bit more light, other than that it was perfect! Can't wait to go back!

What a find from Diner's, Drive-In's and Dives! Family owned and run. Recipes from Mexico made with the same care you would find at your Grandmother's. Pulled pork and tenderloin ends entrees were absolutely to die for! Such complex flavors from the various mole sauces and combinations of ingredients.

This is one of two places I always eat at when visiting SLC. Sure, there's usually a line out the door but it's worth the wait. Unless you live in certain areas of the country, the moles here are some of the best. I don't bother with the dishes you can get elsewhere. It's all about the moles.

Standing in long lines outside of Red Iguana in Salt Lake is like standing in line for the best BBQ in Austin. Substitute mouthwatering bbq for the most authentic, mouthwatering mole in Utah. Total hole on the wall awesomeness. Get your behind into this SLC classic family owned joint. Drive long distance if you must. Order anything and it will... More

The restaurant is a short walk from the TRAX station and mies away from boring. The staff is friendly and bustling. The mole is made with turkey which is a real treat and the guac is amazing! the salsa with the chips is also wonderful.

Go there for lunch? better be there by 11:30. Dinner wait is even longer. But the place and its sister location are worth the wait. Try the Enchalata Suissa (sp).
