We stopped in while visiting from Texas to enjoy the Current River and visit nearby family. Thought we would give this place a try. The food was good, massive pancakes! Know that if you stop in and order one! However, the waitress we had was...super unfriendly… no hello, no how are you, no emotion even… never even knew her name… didn’t introduce herself at all… the only time she came back to check on us was when she delivered our food… this place isn’t large, maybe 10 or 15 tables tops, they had 3 waitresses and an extra host… took awhile to get our food but it wasn’t too bad. Just greatly disappointed in the service. Short staffed couldn’t have been an excuse for that one.More

We stopped for a quick lunch here. Pancakes were huge but cooked just right. Wie,s omelet with sausage was good. As early for lunch, quick service but place could get busy. Several locals eating here. Not much else around. Quirky but worth a stop.

This is a great country cafe. Nothing fancy, just good. I had the grilled catfish. Tasty and plentiful. My husband had the fried catfish sandwich. It was huge and delicious. The hush puppies were homemade and delicious. Service was friendly. Will be back.

Excellent lunch at a very quiet out of the way cafe with fun country decor. Good service. Excellent home cooked food.

Out of the way cafe....quiet cafe....interesting town! The catfish sandwich was huge and very tasty....lots of fries completed the dish! Fried steak was very good....homemade mashed potatoes were yummy! Friendly service!

A friend and I stopped in for dinner. I ordered the Pork Tenderloin and my friend ordered the hamburger. Both were exceptional. The onion rings were great. Our server worked all the tables by herself and did an excellent job as business picked up. This...is a good stop.More

Great Breakfast! We ate as a family mid - morning. The food was good, two had the three meat omelet, I had eggs, bacon toast and the last of us had French toast. Everyone enjoyed. The wait staff (just one girl was working) was overwhelmed...by the amount of people that showed up. I imagine it’s hard to predict if it will be busy or not besides on weekends! I would definitely recommend!More

As we were coming back from a weekend on the Eleven Point River with my son’s and their scout troop, we found the little gem run by the Dorris family. They served us as if we were family and truly made us feel at home....Country fried chicken was a hit and the boys were also a big fan of the massive pancakes. If you’re looking for some fine home cooking from a wonderful family, stop in at the Springhouse!More

I purchased some gift certificates off dollarsaver.com.. thought we would go give them a try today ! We loved the atmosphere and the food was great ! Super friendly !! I found out they just changed owners a few weeks ago .. if you would...like a nice cafe with home cooked food and dessert! This is a must -try! Located a hop skip and jump off highway 60 !!!!More

Good food, nice people, food was average, coffee was ok, little bit pricey for breakfast. Building was very cool.

We were on vacation and couldn’t find many good places off hwy 60 to eat. Then I found this great little cafe online. The tenderloin was delicious. Huge cinnamon rolls! The staff is so friendly. We loved our server Pearl.

Slow to no service, dinner special was same price as menu. They were out of most of what we wanted, Coca-Cola was NOT coke. Place was not crowded yet server acted like she was overwhelmed. Will not ever come back
