Dined here a couple of times recently. The deep fried mushrooms are amazing. Also tried the chunks of deep fried onions are amazing also. Chicken fried steak was really good. Burgers are really good. Catfish is really good too. The desserts are incredible. The service...is very good. Have to also compliment the owners and manager. Bought a pie to give away in a youth event. She told us they would donate one. When we went to pick up our pie they had donated 3 instead of 1. She said they love donating to church functions and such. So nice of them Pies were amazing. Peach was my favorite.More

What a nice, clean place.

No alcohol. No problem. Friendly waitress, Lanae knowledgeable about local stuff. Chili was a little on the spicy side but very tolerable. Catfish sandwich was plain, but very good. Iced tea, delish. For Van Buren, we say GO!

Good food

If you are in a hurry, don't go here. We had a nice waitress and the food was good, but the kitchen was slow and we didn't get refills on our drinks.

Very good home style cooking

Dinner or breakfast are very good. Had fried chicken for dinner and omelette for breakfast. Both excellent.

great place to eat

Have been here twice this month. once with my husband. the deep fried mushrooms are amazing. they are sliced not whole. love them. had fried shrimp, very good. Second visit went in for their amazing desserts since we had eaten earlier in another town. took...our 2 grandchildren then, the desserts are incredible. also had to get the mushrooms again and our granddaughter liked the deep fried avocado. I didn't like the breading. it was cheaper to eat full dinners for me and my husband the 1st time we went than it was to eat desserts and 2 sides with the grandkids. love their decor. huge building. great service. girls gave our granddaughter one of the deep fried avocados to try. gift shop too. spent way too much between dessert and gifts for grandkids. loved it.More

New location, same great food!

I was so glad to find the Float Stream above water and in their new location. I had the open faced roast beef and it was SO good. Tender and flavorful it was just what I was looking for! I try to go there every...time I’m visiting in the area.More
