Always a joy to swing by (1 hour drive from our campground in Lesterville) for some great food and ice cream! Reasonable wait time and they replaced my daughter’s hot dog because their default had “the works.” Everything was delicious and can’t wait to visit...again!!More

Great service and nice atmosphere. I just Had a simple cheeseburger & malted shake. Cheeseburger was fine except the hamburger patty seemed like it was taken out of the freezer cooked and served. I expected fresh hamburger smashed and grilled. The chocolate malted was tasty...and reminded me of the days in my youth when I’d go there.More

After our first float as a family, we were told not to miss a trip to Jolly Cone. We ate on the float, so it was ice cream only. That sucked because I would have loved a pizza burger! My wife and son got shakes...while my youngest and I got a large cone. Ice cream was really good, but we were told it was gonna be real soft. My cone came in a bowl, with a cone on top. Made it hard when i was going to be driving (Way crowded with no open seats). My wife and son ate most of their shakes with a straw (more melted than soft). I figure this was because of how busy they were. It was $13 for the four of us. Not much different than places back home (around Dexter). Don't get me wrong, we will never go back around Van Buren without stopping at Jolly Cone. Major nostalgia flashbacks!More

Great ice cream and burgers, soft serve cones are pretty big. Prices aren’t bad compared to fast food restaurants. But check your order! Ours had one item missing and one item made incorrectly, when we took it back it was made incorrectly again.

First let me say bring cash. They don't take any other form of payment. They do offer an ATM that charges you $2.50 to get your money. Food was good. Order was correct, didn't have to wait long, and they had a large selection of...snack/dessert type food. All seating is outside so if its super hot you might want to visit in the evening. Would visit again for more ice cream!More

As a kid, we loved visiting Jolly Cone with the grandparents and 25 years later it’s not quite the same. The food was all good. The fries were hot and fresh as well as the burgers. The ice cream was tasty too. We were a...little shocked at the prices for the ice cream considering we didn’t get a whole lot. We’ve visited many a roadside ice cream stand and got a lot more for less $$. But, it is what it is. I recommend it for a nice nostalgic place to stop at while checking out the Current River.More

I found this place on TA, thought I would stop by for some dinner. There’s not anything really around this place so I was glad to find it! I pulled up and they were closed!! I was so disappointed. Not sure if they are closed...for good or what?More

A tradition for ice cream but there is so much more on their menu! Great service, quick & friendly. So glad they rebuilt (and at great expense) since a trip to Current River just wouldn't be the same without at least one stop here.
