Love sitting in the outside area in the evening having coffee and pie. Lovely seeing especially after a walk or bike ride on the nearby bisque trail. A lit of thought went into the restaurant design.

Orders are taken at a counter, you receive a number on a stand and the food is delivered to the table. Coffee and water refills are self-serve. Local and organic food choices include sandwiches, breakfast served all day, soups and lunch options that can be eaten for dinner. Very down-to-earth restaurant, locally owned, can be noisy, tables and booths, wi-fi,... More

First time going but not the last! Our group included meat eaters and vegetarians and there were ample choices for everyone. They use high quality ingredients, organic, sustainable and locally grown. Even the ketchup is organic. Place your order at the counter, seat yourself at a comfortable booth, counter or table and the food is brought out. We were kindly... More

I love the food. The variety and quality of the food and don't forget the pastry selections, are out of this world. I have yet to have a bad meal. Might I add I love the atmosphere.

First time going and I loved it!! There are so many items. I had the Athena salad and absolutely loved it. The ingredients are fresh and the people who work there are very friendly. The dessert display is amazing. I now have a bucket list of desserts I wish to try the next time i go back. I had the... More

They are always busy but it never takes too long to order or get your food delivered to the table. Staff is always friendly and observant. Definitely recommend to... More

Just love the flying star. Southwest Bennies are extraordinary. The French toast is out of this world and if you have a little one the grilled macaroni and cheese sandwich is a must. Don't forget the Mexican coffee. It's a must when we are in Albuquerque.

I visit Flying Star frequently! This is the perfect spot to get coffee and meet with friends. The food is always good and the desserts are outstanding. Sometimes I go by myself for coffee and to get work done on my computer. The food is a tad pricey as the salads are usually around $15+, but they are delicious. You... More

Flying Star is such a NM treasure. The menu is a combination of Panera and Denny's, but delicious, local and organically-leaning. Breakfast is served all day, homemade pastries and desserts, mac n cheese, burgers, salads and sandwiches. They serve the best side salad I've ever had! The atmosphere is family friendly. The only complaint I've heard is that it's slightly... More

I've gotten more in health food eating as of recent, and this place definitely catered to that! Great menu selection and good tasting food for a fair price. I loved the inside atmosphere of the place a well.
