We stopped here because it was close to old town. The food was good but nothing too exciting. I wouldn't exactly call it authentic Mexican food, but nothing to complain about either. The prices were good, the staff was friendly and the location was convenient.

A real disappointment with mediocre service, dirty restroom and bland chili. Not a place to go if you are a native New Mexican. I will stick to my favorite New Mexican restaurant (Duran’s Station) or maybe Cervantes.

This caterer provided the food for the Chasers Club at the Balloon Fiesta. The food was utterly disappointing. The offerings were: scrambled eggs, potatoes cooked with veggies or bacon, crumbled bacon, flour tortillas, refried beans, red and green chili sauces, fruit (apples, oranges, bananas), yogurt,...More

Sincerely friendly server offered good suggestions for my meal, which included both red and green chile on the side and delicious refried beans. Food could have been presented more attractively and was more bland than expected, but still good. Generally speaking, priced for value. Welcoming...More

Wish we had never eaten there. Not very friendly there and the food not so great, it is like a lead weight at the pit of the stomach.More

This place was recommended to us, we came to shop in Old town. Staff were ok, waiter ok. I had steak tacos, ordered guacamole for chips. My co worker ordered chicken chimichunga. Didn't get guacamole until he brought my dinner. Everything was bland, no flavor....More

No matter what you order you will be pleased. I took the waiters advice and was happily surprised by delicious greatness. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Quesadilla and enchilada were amazing. Margarita was delicious Fun atmosphere and probably the best parking lot considering the cramped downtown area with limited parking.

During our recent visit to Albuquerque, we ate here both evenings. Good food and drinks. We look forward to returning when we are back in Albuquerque.

Went to Little Anita's for lunch Tuesday, 8/15/17, with two poor, unfortunate folks who moved away from New Mexico. Three of the four of us had the Ranchero Skillet: stacked enchiladas, beans, potatoes, eggs over easy, smothered green with sopas. The Ranchero Skillet was the...More

Description
For a taste of grandma's cooking and a bit of homemade comfort, come to Little Anita's, which has been serving authentic New Mexican food for over 40 years. Named after the founder's mother, and based on family recipes handed down for generations, Little Anita's is an Albuquerque institution. Our iconic flagship restaurant, in the heart of Old Town, is beloved by locals and a must-visit for any tourist. You haven't been to Albuquerque if you haven't eaten at Little Anita's. Our menu hasn't changed much in the last four decades, and we're proud of it. In a fast-moving world, our restaurants are an oasis of tradition and sentimental cooking. When it comes to our signature dishes, we like to keep things simple. We believe in the purity of our ingredients and keep a clean flavor profile. You won't find your food overloaded with seasoning and your taste buds won't be overwhelmed with spiciness. Our chile tastes like chile. You know a Mexican restaurant by its chips and salsa. Have a seat, take a few bites and find out why so many regulars say, "you had me at chips and salsa." Yes, it's that good.
