Little Anita's in Old Town is our breakfast and brunch standby. There are not too many places you can find a perfectly adequate brekky for $5.00! The Senior Plate offers a big egg, a big pancake, and your choice of two pieces of crisp bacon or two link sausages (nice and smoky). We love the lunch and dinner choices as... More

I ate here after a full day of touring .I was tired and hungry and wanted authentic New Mexican food. It seemed like a place where local families ate. Indeed, I was there about 4:30, it was not crowded at all but by the time I left more families were coming in. I ate the green chili stew and chicken... More

I had the soft Taco Platter and my wife had a Beef with Bean... More

I went here to eat because it was late and convenient as I was hungry. The service was good and that's the only positive thing I can say. I ordered a top shelf Margarita that tasted of little to no alcohol. My enchiladas, beans, and rice were unremarkable. Just something to put in the stomach. Sopapilla was hot and too... More

Went for lunch, wanted food for 2 meals so I ordered the taco salad for lunch and a shredded beef enchilada plate to eat later for dinner. Both were very good, fresh, and a decent value @$16.xx for the whole thing out the door. Will eat there again, would recommend to a friend. I work in the oil fields in... More

My first experience with Albuquerque restaurants... Not so good. I expected to get better quality and tastier food. Even though I could see it appears to be a typical "Mexican" restaurant, it dod not meet my basic expectations. I live in Atlanta where there are many "tex-mex" eateries and lost of various taquerias of all ranges of price and quality.... More

Had the chimichunga and it was great. Taco salad was not that good and my wife could not eat it. Overall fine but stay away from salad.

We didn't plan to eat in Old Town that day, but we stopped at Little Anita's and were glad we did. We were headed to the airport and what a nice surprise - the food was great, the service was great - and very reasonably priced. I had a taco burger (something I never normally would order) and it was... More

For a taste of grandma's cooking and a bit of homemade comfort, come to Little Anita's, which has been serving authentic New Mexican food for over 40 years. Named after the founder's mother, and based on family recipes handed down for generations, Little Anita's is an Albuquerque institution. Our iconic flagship restaurant, in the heart of Old Town, is beloved by locals and a must-visit for any tourist. You haven't been to Albuquerque if you haven't eaten at Little Anita's. Our menu hasn't changed much in the last four decades, and we're proud of it. In a fast-moving world, our restaurants are an oasis of tradition and sentimental cooking. When it comes to our signature dishes, we like to keep things simple. We believe in the purity of our ingredients and keep a clean flavor profile. You won't find your food overloaded with seasoning and your taste buds won't be overwhelmed with spiciness. Our chile tastes like chile. You know a Mexican restaurant by its chips and salsa. Have a seat, take a few bites and find out why so many regulars say, "you had me at chips and salsa." Yes, it's that good.
