This WAS the place for a nice atmosphere and rich Italian fare. That was between 2003 and about a year ago. I'm not sure if the management changed or what's happened but my last two visits have been plagued with late cold delivery of over-cooked (burned) dishes of increasingly smaller portions. The staff is pleasant and the general atmosphere still... More

"the rumors of my death have been greatly exaggerated". I think Mark Twain said something like this. This applies to Zio's Italian Kitchen. They are still around and the food is still just as good as ever. I had the Grilled Chicken Alfredo, my companion had the Chicken Pepperoni. Both were huge portions, well cooked and great flavor. Folks, you... More

Pretty good italian food. Nice choice of drinks as well. Service was a little sloppy, but the manager said the server was new in position

Six of us ate here and we all enjoyed our food. My wife and I shared a salad and a pizza. Each portion of our salad was plenty (way bigger than we expected) the pizza was very taste. The price was reasonable and the service was excellent.

I was not impressed, I was told this place was wonderful, but I found myself putting pepper, salt and finally asking for roasted garlic trying to get a good flavor. If you are used to homemade Italian food (Or you are from the East Coast) you will not be happy. Service was great and the dessert was EXCELLENT. I had... More

Although my husband and I make an effort to eat at locally owned restaurants, we've visited Zio's many times and have always been satisfied. However, last night's experience was a big disappointment. They now take reservations which is nice. The place was not even half full at 7PM which was strange as we usually have a wait. The back room... More

Always a good italian meal here for a good price and solid service. My wife ordered spaghetti and meatballs and it was delicious. I ordered chicken piccata and had to send it back...the chicken breasts turned out to be slices of chicken breast, which I could handle, but they were chewy and crunchy and that isn't very appetizing when it... Hope they'll be around for a while longer, but prices keep going up & options keep slipping. We love to purchase a container of the spices they use on the bread dip, it's wonderful.

We recently ate Zio's. It is a pleasant place with a sort of trattoria atmosphere and is similar to other Zio's. Service was friendly and attentive, even though the server had to be reminded about a few things such as bringing the beer before dinner was served. I had the spicy pepperoni/chicken dish and my wife had the canneloni Both... More
