Very nostalgic diner on Route 66. Lots of interesting memorabilia to look at. The food is good and the dessert menu is huge. They seem to be known for their milkshakes but I found the chocolate shake to be light in color and lacking in chocolate flavor. But a fun place to eat and enjoy the atmosphere.

We had been told about this place and wanted to give it a try. It is definitely a throwback with the music, decor, etc. If you are old enough it definitely reminds you of a previous time when the music was popular and this type of restaurant was very common. If you aren't that old, give it a try. It... More

The 66 Diner is a delightful stop if you are heading to Albuquerque anytime soon. They have classic diner fare with a southwestern flare including meatloaf, breakfast burritos, grilled cheese, chicken enchiladas, chicken fried steak and many other offerings including delicious deserts and shakes (try the banana cream pie or chocolate over strawberry). Most importantly for us, my wife and... More

During our one week stay in Albuquerque we went here twice. We had burger and on our second visit catfish. For dessert their buttermilk pie and just the buttermilk pie is worth the visit if you're not very hungry. The service was outstanding and even though it was very busy, you didn't feel rushed. I ate for the very first... More

On the historic Route 66 their vibe/decor was the old fashion diner. Their chocolate milkshake was delicious so much so I wanted to order another. The hamburger was large and took half to go. Travel through Albuquerque I would stop there again.

Great place to eat. It is fashioned in a 1950's style. I used to live near here and I took my brother to it. I ordered a BBQ beef sandwich ($8.99) and a caramel apple 1/2 shake ($3.99). They actually brought me a caramel cow but it was quite good. My brother ordered a different sandwich and shake and enjoyed... More

Love the ambience. If you want to live in the car loving 50's era for few moments you have found the place. Food is very good and the desserts are great. Waitress was very friendly.

This is just like the diners of my childhood. Could have been on a '50s roadtrip. Hamburgers, shakes, music, nice people. It was really fun!

If your running through, staying for a visit or just a local and haven't been here. Just go!!! It's an old style dinner. Right down to the hand dipped milk shakes, waiter and waitress dress in 50s dinner clothes and they sing to the radio. So even with all that. That's only opening door to go here. The food yummy....
