Had dinner over the Thanksgiving weekend. I think the weekend festivities at Estes Park end up creating near summertime level crowds without the staff to handle the business. It took longer than I would have liked to be served, but the food was very good. Overpriced cocktail was a poor investment. I'll be willing to give this place another try.

With the menu being very diverse on options I thought we would really have a great family meal. The service was decent enough. However when we all got our food I wasn't that impressed. My son and I had the pasta and the sauce just didn't have that much flavor. I think our experience was average and the food definitely... More

Food was dry and bland. Waitress was terrible. She was terse and rude. This person is really in the wrong job. The food was terrible. I ordered the trout. It was very dry and tastless.

I forgot about the Wild Rose! What a pleasant surprise to eat there, especially since we were able to use a coupon we got on restaurants.com...that helped us splurge on everything from appetizers to dessert. You can tell the food is made with real, tasteful ingredients and the chef takes pride in his food. I especially enjoyed the German look... More

The staff are very welcoming. They have been pleasant, helped in lunch selection. The food was great, tasty and the presentation was excellent. I have tasted (visited several times during my stay) their soups, steaks and some salads with salmon. Warmly recomend!

We arrived amidst shopping for a "quick" bite. My first taste of a buffalo burger was quite unsatisfactory. The meat was dry and without flavor. My friend's "lime ginger" chicken also was dry and had no lime or ginger flavor whatsoever. Service was poor. It took FOREVER to be waited on and it was fairly busy but not enough for... More

We ducked in here without knowing anything about it save a quick menu peruse out front. I ordered the swordfish with no rice and extra veggies but no carrots and tequila lime cilantro sauce on side and that's exactly how it came out!! And, it was SO delicious, just perfect!! My husband got jaegerschnitzel and he was in heaven!! Came... More

This place was recommended by another traveler in downtown Estes and they raved about the sauerbraten. So we gave it a try and were not disappointed. The German items as sauerbraten were great. They had a 1/2 off second entrée which made it very reasonable dinner. Around $30 for two. A couple of the servers seemed preoccupied with who had... More

Our party tried both the Elk and Buffalo burgers, which were very good. The service was excellent, one guy working and he was hustling!
