The food was ok. Not the greatest but maybe it was what we got. I got the bbqbacon cheddar burger which was very good. My friend got the chicken and gac sandwich which was awful! The house made bbq sauce was great and the fries.

Had the veggie burger not impressed (but I️t is a steak house I️ know). Other family was satisfied with their meals. The server was horrible! Place was empty and we had to seek him out for seconds and then he would forget to deliver. He...More

Ate at the Grubsteak for lunch. It’s interesting how you can chose the type of meat for your burgers. My husband and I both tried yak- which was delicious! Nice atmosphere and very good food :) We will definitely be back!

Nothing very great or bad - typical of tourist restaurants. Food, service just ok - better to seek out the 4-5 very good restaurants in Estes Park, which is not known for outstanding cuisine.

Neat, historic place for a quick meal. Lots of character in the old time furnishings. Food was pretty good. Took a while but if was fresh and hot.

After a long day in Estes Park, I was a little late for dinner and it is not easy to find something in Estes Park that is still open close to 8 pm. The Grubsteak was, and I’m glad I found my way there. Nice...More

I don't have a clue. I suggest you call the restaurant and get the first hand scoop on their MSG usage.
