We found this place and headed over for dinner on a Saturday night. IT was fantastic! It gives you that warm cozy vibe, with live music. The beer was fantastic, the food was great and the service matched. We ended up eating too much! Highly recommend if you are looking for something for everyone in your group. Vegetarian friendly!

Excellent food! The service is decent (they can get overwhelmed even in 'off-season' but as locals we understand staffing issues here in Estes). It would be nice if they would add another 1-2 CO craft brew choices.

Rock Inn is just outside the main part of town, so it seems that it's not one of those places that gets overwhelmed with tourists. It wasn't very busy when we went, though the town was packed with people. The food and service was fast and pleasant. We had fresh trout and a steak, both perfectly cooked. It was a... More

My wife and I ate at the Rock Inn Mountain Tavern last night. The restaurant is built like a large log cabin with a vaulted ceiling and large logs and timbers supporting the roof. I loved the feel of the place as it felt very warm and inviting inside. We ordered a bottle of wine and shared a spinach salad... More

We visited here last week and was greeted by Roger who was so funny and nice! We called ahead to have our name put on the waiting list and didn't have to wait long for a table once we ( I'd recommend everyone doing this as they don't take reservations). We were led to our table by another wonderful staff... More

Do NOT hesitate to go here! What a remarkable establishment. We have been going to Estes for years and never stopped in this place, our resort gave us a $50 gift card for our anniversary and it was fantastic! There was a bluegrass band on the night we went and the place was packed. Service was outstanding...the food amazing! We're... More

We enjoyed brunch at the Rock Inn on a Sunday morning. The food was very good and the service was okay. Would have given 5 stars if the wait staff had been a bit more alert. We had to locate the wait person to get us our check at the end of our meal.

My husband and I ate here in early November after a long day of hiking in RMNP. The wood burning stove made the large dining room feel warm and welcoming the instant we arrived. The night we were there, a musician was playing and Sunday night football was playing on the TVs near the bar. The waitress was friendly and... More

Description
Open 7 days a week at 4pm Sunday Mornings we are serving Brunch from 10am to 2pm Built in 1937as a dance hall for the Big Band Era, The Rock continues to be a lively gathering place with local flair. In the winter, our two wood-burning stoves keep the room toasty for folks stopping in for a beer or a bite after playing in Rocky Mountain National Park. During the summer season we enjoy stunning continental divide views from our outdoor dining patio. Our menu is an ever evolving blend of hand-crafted, hearty comfort food with a health and planet conscious twist. We aim to fill you up with goodness so you can get back to enjoying the mountains again tomorrow. We feature Certified Angus Beef, All-Natural Colorado chicken, fresh salads, whole grains, organic teas and coffees, local beers, sustainably produced wines, and a full bar. On Many Fridays after dinner, we set-up one of many original Colorado bands on our 76 year old stage, clear the dance floor and boogie all night. Some of the bands playing these days include Chain Station, James and the Devil, Old Town Pickers, The Sweet Lillies, Stringboard Theory, Cadillac Grip Funk, KC Groves, and many more. During the summer time, acoustic music acts play most other nights of the week, sunday nights are a mellower feeling as we host acoustic Colorado songwriters during dinner. You might catch Jon Pickett, Alex Thoele, Sarah Caton, Jay Roemer, Billy Shaddox, Jay Stott, or Terry Kishiyama and Ash Ganley. We also offer a great open bluegrass pick on Thursday nights lead by a few talented local musicians, either joining in on the pick or just sitting back and enjoying the bluegrass, tuesdays are a funny night of music. We look forward to having you join us. Reservations are not accepted, however if you want to give us a call, when you are on your way we will be happy to get a table ready for you or put you on the list. During the off-season there is rarely a wait. In July, August, and September it is best to get here before 6.
