The brunch menu of egg dishes, crepes and biscuits and gravy had something for everyone. The side of fruit was fresh and nicely presented in a ramekin.

Cool place with several warm fireplaces. Food was average, but the vibe was nice. Good selection of drinks.

My recommendation is go early for dinner but even if you have to wait, it is worth it. Our second time here after a great experience some months back. Great service, the flat iron steak is wonderful (it was marinated...great job) and my wife -- not a drinker -- LOVED the hot toddy (hot buttered rum). Great service and a... More

My husband and I visited this restaurant tonight after reading the Trip Advisor reviews. We were not disappointed. We went early, just before 6pm, and were surprised at how busy it was. We got the last available table although , unfortunately it was right by the stove and we were very hot. However, we are not complaining as we were... More

The setting was comforting with a Jazz jam session in the background. We had split the Caesar salad and meat loaf dinner with a glass of wine & glass of beer for under $30. We didn't feel rushed to complete our dinner. Good comfort food.

Late on the review. Went multiple evenings in September 2016. Wife, 4 yr old, and me. All had a great time and great food. Beautiful setting, great food, great beer, incredible staff. We love variety and hardly ever go more than 1 place on a trip. Why mess with a great find? A different meal each night and all were... More

So, we visited the restaurant and the came in on happy hour(4-6PM) which offer a good apps prices and alcohol drinks(The house wine bottle for 15$). The first person who welcomed us was the bartender, we came just in the begging of the day. He was very polite and helped us to choose a great place near the fire place... More

My husband and I had a delicious meal served by a very competent and friendly waitress. I had a filet mignon with a 6 oz lobster tail added and my husband enjoyed his ciapino. Everything was cooked to perfection and all seafood is fresh, never frozen. Only complaint would be the ciapino was low on sauce to pasta ratio and... More

Description
Open 7 days a week at 4pm Sunday Mornings we are serving Brunch from 10am to 2pm Built in 1937as a dance hall for the Big Band Era, The Rock continues to be a lively gathering place with local flair. In the winter, our two wood-burning stoves keep the room toasty for folks stopping in for a beer or a bite after playing in Rocky Mountain National Park. During the summer season we enjoy stunning continental divide views from our outdoor dining patio. Our menu is an ever evolving blend of hand-crafted, hearty comfort food with a health and planet conscious twist. We aim to fill you up with goodness so you can get back to enjoying the mountains again tomorrow. We feature Certified Angus Beef, All-Natural Colorado chicken, fresh salads, whole grains, organic teas and coffees, local beers, sustainably produced wines, and a full bar. On Many Fridays after dinner, we set-up one of many original Colorado bands on our 76 year old stage, clear the dance floor and boogie all night. Some of the bands playing these days include Chain Station, James and the Devil, Old Town Pickers, The Sweet Lillies, Stringboard Theory, Cadillac Grip Funk, KC Groves, and many more. During the summer time, acoustic music acts play most other nights of the week, sunday nights are a mellower feeling as we host acoustic Colorado songwriters during dinner. You might catch Jon Pickett, Alex Thoele, Sarah Caton, Jay Roemer, Billy Shaddox, Jay Stott, or Terry Kishiyama and Ash Ganley. We also offer a great open bluegrass pick on Thursday nights lead by a few talented local musicians, either joining in on the pick or just sitting back and enjoying the bluegrass, tuesdays are a funny night of music. We look forward to having you join us. Reservations are not accepted, however if you want to give us a call, when you are on your way we will be happy to get a table ready for you or put you on the list. During the off-season there is rarely a wait. In July, August, and September it is best to get here before 6.
