My husband and I dined here while in Estes Park- what a hidden gem! Ambiance was excellent as was the service. We really enjoyed the appetizer for two and the cocktails. The house filet with blue cheese, pistachios, balsamic reduction and bernaise was the most...More

WOW ...the food exceeded all expectations from the elk appetizers to main course tender steak and chicken. We were part of a group of about 80. Quaint charm. Dance floor more than adequate. Service excellent.

Stopped in after a day in RMNP. The elk medallions and bison were great and we had a wine that was excellent. I will definitely return to the Twin Owls the next time I am in Estes Park. Hopefully soon!

Beef was superb, cheescake was the size of your head, but the tuna was bad. Possibly bad fish + not cooked well. Service was ok, not great.

Great spot by the Stanley Hotel. Colorado ambiance and hospitality. Server was great food is good. The presentation is more old school so not on recent trends with small plates or shareable items. Elk was delicious Will I Go Back? Sure why not. It was...More

Luscious, delightful, and traditional favorite! Not too much icing, the cake itself was light as Carrot Cake is meant to be. And who doesn't love having enough to share! Great Job. Oh, and the Prime Rib was excellent as well.

A higher price establishment with plenty of rustic atmosphere. We ate there last summer and were entertained by 2 elk eating the lawn immediately outside the window of our table. The thing I really wanted to commend was that the fillet I ate was in...More

I assure you that I wrote an authentic review of my experience at your restaurant. I am sorry for the typo in the review. I did not catch the word "are" before I hit submit. However, as I said in my review, the hostess the night we were there (as soon as you opened that day so that we would miss the dinner rush hour) WAS rude to us. As I said, this was a few years ago. At the time, there was a business on Moraine Ave called "The Bistro" that was in an old gas station or perhaps it used to be a convenience store. It was before you reach Mary's Lake Road, on the right hand side as you head toward the National Park. At any rate, we didn't wish to have that kind of atmosphere for our anniversary dinner. You may perhaps ask around about The Bistro so that you know that there WAS a restaurant in that kind of building. I think they later moved to St. Vrain, and now they appear to be out of business. So, I have no idea why you would say that it isn't an authentic review. Perhaps your hostess was having a bad night, I don't know. I can only review what happened to me.

Surrounded by the grandeur of the Rocky Mountains, the Twin Owls Steakhouse is Estes Park’s premiere fine dining destination. Located on the grounds of the Black Canyon Inn, we are tucked away just to the north of the rush and bustle of downtown Estes Park. The rough-hewn logs, broad-plank hardwood floors, moss rock fireplaces and the rustic charm of a 90 year-old log cabin are joined with all the amenities of a modern restaurant in each of our three dining rooms. Whether you’re joining us for a wedding reception, a business dinner, a family Christmas party or an intimate night out for two, we take pride in ensuring that every guest who steps through our doors has an experience to remember. Our menu has been carefully crafted to please the entire family, and includes a broad selection of steaks, wild game and seafood, along with a kids’ menu and an irresistible dessert selection. We also offer an extensive wine list, local craft beers and hand-crafted cocktails.
