I hadn't been to Kabob and Curry in years, and went back last night with a girlfriend. We ordered one entrée, a special with chicken (I wish I remembered the name of it) and it was absolutely delicious. And plenty of food for two. It came with spiced potatoes (like what goes into samosas, sort of) and dal. We also... More

Indian is our go to food. This was some of the best I've had lately. Good lunch special which included two dishes. Just the right amount of spice ordering "medium". Would go back.

Found this place on Tripadvisor, many thanks! Was in the area visiting with two people that had not previously tried Indian food. Despite the good reviews had simply expected the standard type Indian food. We arrive late in the afternoon and were seated upon entering. We ordered from the menu (looks as if they have a buffet as well). Our... More

We stopped in here cold during a downpour without benefit of a recommendation from friends and having done no advance research. Spicy and oily foods do not agree with me so we ordinarily steer clear of Indian food, but we were looking for a port in the storm and were prepared to settle. As we were ushered upstairs through an... More

I love great Vindaloo. I can't help it I do. So I try it every where I go. The chicken Vindaloo here is spectacular. I like spicy and they will make it as hot as you'd like. But it's just not the only thing. The Cauliflower 65 was fabulous. The naan...all of them. They came out piping hot and perfect.... More

This restaurant is located in a university town in Providence specifically near the prestigious Brown University. Once we walked in were swiftly greeted and walked to our table where a couple of minutes later we were offered a type of Indian flatbread. It was very good especially when you would add the spicy & tangy sauces on top. We ordered... More

I have been in providence for a week and went to this restaurant once. There is a university in the vicinity so you find the restaurant and nearby area with full of young students. Cozy place with youthful ambience. Mango lassi is awesome here. I tried a vegetarian thali which comes with two dishes of your choice, two breads and... More

Got this delivered...onion and garlic naan wonderful, Chicken Vindaloo and Korma tasty. The only thing is that we're in a hotel, and didn't think to ask for plates and plasticware...assumed it would be a given.

This is a truly excellent Indian restaurant. There are thousands in the US but this one is one of the few that stands out. The food is not your standard Punjabi slop that most Indian restaurants serve. And it is a vibrant place with young people all over. Go there - you will be delighted.

We went to a soccer game and happened upon this place in Providence. The place was packed but got a seat quickly. The buffet had great options and this is one of the time I might eat a salad at an Indian buffet as the salad looked fresh and was not iceberg lettuce. The vegetarian options were great, and really... More
