We stayed overnight at the Inn and ate both breakfast and dinner at the restaurant. This was primarily because every other place in Lubec was closed or out of business. Nevertheless, both the dinners and the breakfasts were excellent.

We came here based on some reviews we read and the prospect of sitting outside on a great summer day in Maine. They didn’t disappoint us in any aspect of our visit. We sat outside with a great water view. Hope was our server and...she did a fantastic job keeping us happy without intruding at all. The food was great and the price was reasonable for the location. A great meal at a location we will go back to if we are in the area again.More

Beautiful views, excellent service and delicious breakfast! The potatoes were nice and crispy as was the bacon. The eggs were cooked perfectly to our liking. We would definitely recommend.

30$ for two small crocks of Seafood Chowder that had no visible seafood, no flavor. Terribly slow service, very disappointing.

Well, I figured the lobster here would be great, seeing that Lubec is a lobster fishing village. I ate on the deck. The lobster stew didn't have much seasoning and not that much lobster in it -- I kept adding lobster pieces to it from...my lobster roll. The lobster roll was okay but not the tastiest I've had. The onion rings had too much batter. The cole slaw was awful. The blueberry margarita was more like a blueberry slush. When I went inside to find the waitress to get my bill, a seagull attacked my leftover onion rings and bun but not the cole slaw -- it didn't like it either and left it scattered all over the table. One of the customers showed me the photo he took of the happy seagull. I told everyone not to feel too sympathetic and that the seagull was more than welcome to my leftovers. Service was slow, prices were higher than I expected. The views were great, though!!More

Lubec is tiny, and early in the week this was our only dining option. They were out of several menu items that I would otherwise have ordered, but the seafood platter was generous if not particularly savory. The fried clams were good. Generous serving of...sweet potato fries. We ate inside at a sticky table, but we could see that the small staff was hard-pressed to keep up with all their customers and were doing the best they could. Good water views from inside. No reservations, so come early.More

Our lunch was very good. I had a fried haddock sandwich with onion rings and coleslaw. My wife had a BLT with fries and coleslaw. The fish was fresh and perfectly cooked. It was HUGE. Onion rings were excellent. Slaw was not so good. It...was mushy and had an unusual flavor. My wife’s BLT was really loaded with bacon and very tasty. Service was very pleasant and fast. Good value for a tourist town.More

Ok, so we stayed just a short easy walk down the wooden path at their inn but this cozy place was an outstanding local restaurant that was so much better than expected. Unfortunately when we were there in late April, early May, they were not...yet open for dinner but their breakfasts were awesome. Simple, substantial & delicious, we were full & energized for hours on the both mornings we visited. And the staff was friendly, courteous & so helpful re: local scenic sites. Can't wait to return when they are open all day so we can experience dinner on their deck. Thanks for being there & here's a virtual tug on the Chef's bell by the door 😍More

We went here, as the only place open we could find for a late lunch. the location is stunning, you are right on the water, that’s the best feature in my opinion. service was good, considering how busy they were, and friendly. the food however...was less than good. I had the lobster roll, which came with coleslaw, there was nice pieces of lobster, but no dressing of any kind on it that I could taste, and the coleslaw was rather tasteless also. my friend had a Caesar salad with chicken, and said it was the worst salad she had tasted in quite awhile. For the price they charge, they need to up their game.I think my lobster roll was $28,More

We had a good if fairly average meal here one night of our stay in Lubec. The wait staff was very friendly, but the food was only mediocre in quality. It is overpriced, in my humble opinion: it was a bit off-putting that a meal...for four -- with no drinks or dessert -- cost more than our hotel room!More

We had dinner here as it was the only option on a Sunday night in Lubec..so the place was busy. We seated ourselves at a table with a great view of the harbor and watched the fog banks roll in and out. The waitresses were...very busy but handled the crowd quite well. We had two beers from the local brewery. I had a small Waldorf salad that was excellent. Unfortunately my mussels were overcooked and a bit rubbery. My husband's "fish tacos" were a cardboard hot dog holder with a corn tortilla folded inside, some lettuce and a few deep fried haddock bites. The missed the Mexican flare!More

When I say the coffee was the best I've had for a while, I mean it. I found that they grind the beans themselves. Super fresh and just the right strength! As others have mentioned, the view is great. We enjoyed our breakfast on the...outside deck. It was stunning to sit by the water. We enjoyed our eggs, toast and homefries. The service was good and the price was right. I had fun at the end of the meal, browsing in the gift shop. There are lovely unique pieces there, and I treated myself to one! All in all, a wonderful experience.More

I'm not sure what their "late" season hours are.....I was there in early August, 2016. I suspect they are still open most days because a lot of locals go there too!!!
