Lubec is a tiny little town with a lack of places to dine or imbibe. Sign says this place is open TU-Sun. Didn’t open until TH —we went on Friday night at 6 and the place was packed w/apparently locals. We could get beer but...More

Sorry you were disappointed, but our sign outside our door does very clearly say open Thurs-Sun not Tuesday. Many folks visiting Washington County Maine are unaware that it is a Federally designated "Food Desert" meaning access to healthy fresh food is limited due to our...More

Fun and popular local place in the small town of Lubec Maine. The place is popular and service can be slow if you order the popular pizza. Have one of many brews choices.

We stopped in here right after they opened at 2:00 for a quick pint. The service was extremely friendly and offered helpful information about the beer selection. They have some couches around the place as well as tables and, of course, a bar. It has...More

Call to get the lowdown on how and what is for dinner. Limited amounts and local fare are the menu of the day. We had dinner here on a night that a very popular local band played. This, and likely the food and beer brought...More

Went there in '16 and was welcomed like family, even though I'm from Missouri. Don't recall much about the food; but the beer was very good. Nice ambiance as well. Going back in September and hoping for some music with the beer. Hoping the cool...More

This place is very endearing. It looks like a bunch of free spirits designed it for their friends and wayward souls. There are two large picnic tables inside along with two or three tables for two. There rest are couches and coffee tables. Get there...More

Drove into Lubec at 530 and headed straight to eat because we heard restaurants fill up early and can run out of food. This place was really cool. Wife and I with three teenagers did not get there early enough for table seat but we...More

On a late afternoon in July where every seaside town in Maine is flooded with vacationers, Lubec is virtually empty, except for Lubec brewing! Towns are discovering that beer, food, and music all help build community and catalyze a local economy. Lubec brewing is attempting...More

Thank you for your review and glad you enjoyed the evening. It has been a struggle in the summers when we are sometimes overrun with folks and cannot accommodate everyone who wants to come and enjoy the place. That night we had 17 orders before...More

Description
We are a Micro-Brewery offering craft beer made with organic Maine barley, brewed on site. Also serving all organic, local as much as possible, freshly made vegan, vegetarian, fish, and meat dishes Thursday through Sunday, and organic sourdough pizzas Thursday through Saturday. We also have live music each night through the summer and on weekends during the winter. Our vision is to offer that place we all just love to go kick back and relax in, joining old friends and meeting new ones, in a truly warm, inviting, and accepting environment, where we can drink excellent craft beer, eat delicious and nourishing food, listen to incredible music, and see amazing art. Our Tap Room opens at 2pm and the Kitchen is open from 5pm to 8:30pm for dinners, Pizzas are served starting at 5:30pm till we run out. Please be aware that all of our food is home-made in house from scratch, it is real food. Your food is cooked by hand not in a microwave, and as such does take real time to prepare for you. So please sit back relax and enjoy friends and the music, for a half hour or so, as we prepare your meal. Although we can prepare a meal for you to go, we are not a take out place, and your meal when ordered to go will require the same amount of time as an in house meal to prepare for you.
