I needed a good Mexican food fix on my trip to Tucson. Leo's filled the need. Basic, no frills dining at fair prices. Many specialty dishes are offered in addition to the standard combo fare.

This family owned restaurant has been serving authentic and the best Mexican food in Tucson since 1989! They serve by far the best calabacitas in Tucson, and overall everything I have eaten is just delicious. Everybody is very friendly and this just adds up to the great experience that is to eat in Leo's. I will strongly recommend it to... More

We reluctantly decided to switch regular Mexican restaurants for several reasons: a 20% price increase at our old restaurant, an alarming increase in turnover among the waitstaff and the continuing construction on Grant Road, which made our 12-mile round trip miserable. We did a search on Trip Advisor and narrowed it down to four Mexican restaurants reported to have lower... More

Wonderful husband and wife couple serve up authentic cuisine and warm friendly atmosphere. We go at least once a month . I go for bear down style chimichanga, Carne Seca is excellent too. Don't forget a margarita!

This was certainly the warmest Mexican restaurant I have ever been to. DH asked me to pick a restaurant last Saturday morning and we were in the mood for Mexican. Most of the good medium-priced restaurants had reviewers talking about very long waiting time and I was famished. So we decided to settle for Leo's. And by God it was... More

When I lived in Tucson, this was my favourite restaurant. Now that I live in Europe when I arrive the first place we head to is Leo's with the luggage still in the car. The food and drinks are outstanding what ever is ordered. The combination plates can be modified to meet individual wants. The staff are welcoming. I feel... More

You can't go wrong at Leo's. It is a mom and pop restaurant and Leo takes great pride in place and his food. If you're not happy, just let him know....but I do not know why you would not be happy. The staff is friendly and courteous and it is the best authentic Mexican food around.

I like eating here. It is not a fancy place but the food is good, prices reasonable, and the staff is nice. They seem to care that you are there.

Everyone in our group of 7 had Leo's Special Enchiladas and we all left happy! Whenever in Tucson, Leo's is a must stop for lunch or dinner. In almost 20 years, I have never had a bad meal and the food today was just as good as it was the first time I came!
