The wait staff was attentive and knowledgable. The service exceeded our expectations. The food was all that we imagined it might be from reading other reviews. I took advantage of having both the chocolate and savory mole. The chocolate was great but I was surprised...More

We have eaten here three times in two weeks, twice for lunch. While not always a fan of "South of the Border" style cooking, this place has made a believer out of us. We really appreciated the incredible nuance of flavors that this restaurant gives...More

The menu looked vey interesting. When the dinner arrived, while the various items were tasty, the small portions (vrs the price) were "camouflaged" by a lot of greenery. Not worth a return trip by this party.

We visited Cafe Poca Cosa for lunch while vacationing in the Tucson area. The waitress was so pleasant and it was great to hear her describe/pronounce each of the unique dishes they offer. Despite the comments from the previous reviewer, the plating is superb and...More

My husband & I enjoyed our dinner, but the plating left much to be desired. we ordered the Chef's plate, three entrees of the Chef's choice. The entrees were pretty good -- my complaint is the overloading of the plate with a hugh mess, and...More

I went for dinner on a weeknight, it was wonderful, the service was excellent and the food was terrific. I had the Chef's Surprise plate and it did not disappoint. It came with a mole dish, a spicy chicken dish and the most amazing sweet...More

Cafe Poca Cosa is original and very tasty! The owner is from central Mexico, and she brings her aesthetic to the recipes, as well as the presentation. The food is always fresh and always sublime.

Great ambience and fabulous staff! Thank you Jimmy! However, I felt the small entrees were overpriced and no longer authentic south of the border flavor. Lots of salad, rice and beans for $20 pp lunch.

We stopped in for an early dinner as we missed lunch to do sight seeing. Surprisingly there were quite a few people at 5 on a Thursday, so that was a good sign. Once seated we had water and chips and salsa right away. The...More

To be honest I don't know. You may want to call them. I don't believe the meal I got even had any gluten. It's all meat and vegetables. Maybe the rice and tortillas probably have gluten. I would call them.

They have a very limited menu so I wouldn't be surprised if there aren't gluten free options, but I have no idea.
