We have tried several Indian restaurants including several in the Tucson area. We had not been here in years due to inconvenience of location. Decided to try this place on a Saturday evening and we were pleasantly surprised. We had read on some reviews that service was slow but our meal arrived within 30 minutes while we enjoyed a drink.... I loved my experience in this new adventure of excellent quality cuisine! If you are willing to try Indian food this is the place...the owner described and took his time to help me pick out a entrée that was pleasantly flavorful and mild in spiciness. I highly recommend this quaint little restaurant!

Sometimes I just get the craving for Indian Food. It is spicy, creamy, comforting and Naan is just ridiculously good. I have been to New Delhi Palace in the past, but not recently so I thought I would give it a try. Let me start by saying the exterior of this restaurant is very deceptive. It is located between a... This was our second visit to New Delhi Palace. Actually, the second time we've had Indian food in Tucson although we've lived here more than 30 years. One of the things I love about this restaurant is that on both occasions we have felt TRULY welcomed and appreciated here. The staff are genuinely friendly and very attentive. And the delicate... We hadn't been to New Delhi Palace for a year or so -- enjoyed our meal the last time, but the restaurant just fell off our radar. We had an Entertainment coupon for up to $12 off, and decided to have an early dinner at New Delhi tonight as we were in the area running errands. We both had the... More

Dinner was not good. A few dishes tasted like last weeks meat. The sauces were not that rich Indian gravy that makes this food exciting. Family of four for $65 was reasonable, and service fine. The crusted sauce on my chair was extra.

Hi Michael Thank you for taking the time to review us. To clarify our meats come in fresh every week from our vendors and actually do not need to serve old meats since deliveries are next day on orders. We apologize for our sauces not being up to your tastebuds. Please do let us know on your next visit and... More

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Tucson and definitely the best Indian food here. They have all the standards, and, in addition, they have seasonal and regional menus. I have been going here for 7 years and have never had an indifferent meal. The service is always friendly.

This indian was very disappointing with poor service and bad food. The staff seemed to lack knowledge when asked about the dishes on offer and did not know what a fried onion bhaji was ! When we did order the curry it arrived and looked very pale and washed out. It was also swimming in fat on ghee on the... More

Tuesdays are Tandoori Tuesdays at NDP, which means that entrees on the regular menu are $6.99. My boyfriend and I decided to stop by on one such day and had a lovely experience! We were seated right away, and were helped by several different people who were all very nice. The food was fantastic; we got the assorted snacks platter,... More

We had dinner at Delhi Palace and found it to have very good food and good service. Entree portions were fairly small but served in beautiful brass bowls. The atmosphere was pleasant, with murals on the walls and incense filling the dining room. Our only complaint was the a la carte pricing structure. For example, whereas all the Indian restaurants...
