After a morning visiting Biosphere 2 we came back to Tucson and enjoyed a late lunch here. We brought two active children for lunch. The waiter immediately helped with the children providing special chairs, crayons and paper. We had the daily special along with a salad dish and pasta. The children had a children's portion. Everyone enjoyed the meal and... More

We really enjoyed sunday lunch at north, the pizza with figs and prosciutto and arugula was excellent, as well as the service. They have a new manager from the UK, and you can tell he is doing an amazing job!

Always busy at lunch and happy hour. Wonderful bar snacks and happy hour drinks. The salads at lunch are particularly good.

My college son and buddies always want to go there when we visit Tucson. Why? The scene obviously. Always very cute waitresses. But this last meal will keep me from returning for some time. It was easily 30 minutes before we received our drinks. The food came well over an hour after we ordered it. But our waitress was really... More

Just came back from a delightful experience. My husband and I had three courses. For apps, I had the roasted cauliflower which was in a great sauce and he had the heirloom tomatoes and burrata. He had the steak and I had the scallops. The steak was very tender and sauce delicious. The scallops were delicious but a little fishy.... More

My wife and I had not heard of this chain of high-end Italian restaurants and didn't know it was part of a chain when we reserved our table. Everything about North Italia was okay, but not special. Our two entrees were fresh, but not particularly tasty -- a marked disappointment for this type of cuisine. The service was good, but... More

North was amazing. Service was spot on, attentive but not overbearing. The food was very special. The restaurant combines a lively bar scene, beautiful outdoor dining and an engaging dining room with a great menu.

Thank Sam C

We’ve turned a modern lens on traditional Italian cooking. North Italia is our love letter to Italy—a place that’ll make you feel like you’ve stepped off a charming side street to discover a culinary gem. After a decade in business, we’ve learned a thing or two and we’re approaching perfection in the art of handmade pasta and pizza. Every day, we start from scratch to create dishes like Strozzapreti with Bloomsdale spinach or supple ribbons of tagliatelle for our Bolognese. Our pizza is a revelation: an airy, barely chewy center embraced by a perfectly crisp crust. With the spirit of the Italian taverna, North is the place to talk shop over a cocktail or swap gossip sharing delectable chef creations.Every neighborhood would be lucky to have a place like North.
