We stopped here about 3:00 after our visit to Old Tucson. It was fairly quiet which was nice. Yesterday we saw that it had been busier in the early evening. They had a great selection on the menu. The service was great. I had the spinach enchiladas with squash and rice on the side. Very tasty!! My husband had the... More

Found this great restaurant purely by accident on a Thursday afternoon about 5 pm. It was PACKED with happy customers and LOTS of people standing while waiting for a table or to-go order. We had some of the best Mexican food we've had for some time and found it to be very reasonably priced. Considering how busy they were, our... More

This small, colorful restaurant was a great find. Food was delicious and staff was friendly. Out of the way, but worth going!

Wanting to try someplace different we found Los Nopales after quite a drive from downtown. Seems to be a popular "area" joint. Food was ok not great. They did however have the best flan I have found since la fuente closed.

A very small place with a modest exterior, but inside is colorful and friendly. The food was inexpensive and excellent. The staff was efficient and was a fun place for a casual dinner.

I think this is one of the best kept secrets in Tucson. Sits in a little strip area you would miss unless you were told where it was. Last year someone suggested we give it a try he had tried to eat there at least once a week while in Tucson. Not much to look at but very clean. Portions... More

The place was full with a mix of cultures which is always a good sign. The food is not special but it was very good. much better than the americanized mexican chains. The guacamole had a good avacodo flavor with bits of tomoto and onion. Could have used some cilantro or lime. but it did let the ingredients shine and... More

This place is a bit hard to find since it is "inside" a small strip mall off of Kinney. It is fairly small and a short wait for a table is not uncommon. But they move diners through fairly quickly and the wait is worth it. Try the chicken soup when it is available.
