Took a chance and was pleasantly surprised. We had the Chicken Tinga tacos and the skinny margaritas as we do not like pre-mix.

I stopped at Barriba cantina for dinner. Atmosphere was nice, there was a live band that sounded good. I ordered the cheese enchiladas and they were tasty. Not great, but solid. Drinks were good as wel. Not a bad place to stop near the Alamo.

It was our first day on the riverwalk. This spot was listed in a little tour booklet and we decided to try it. There is a parking lot across the street, we were able to walk in for a late lunch and be seated right away. The patio had full sun, but we did not care because we live in... More

Good Tex-mex at a good price and the service was really fast! The drinks are good and gthe homemade chips and salsa oh so good. It is at street level and over looks the Riverwalk. We will go there again.

We stopped here by chance. We wanted to have some drinks and this place was great. We sat outside on the second level. Our server was very nice and quickly suggested some of their signature drinks. The drinks have a good level of alcohol...not watered down at all. The chips and salsa were a great pair for our drinks. Very... More

This is a 3 star restaurant with good service and on the river walk - thus the 4 star rating. Stay away from chicken tinga. Carnitas was a little better than average. But, the outside seating, river view and live music make it enjoyable venue. Nice selection of tequilas.
